Allow file import without the camera
Aloha :-)
Working with the app is fun and a great way to manipulate and share 360 footage especially if you don’t own the expensive software like adobe premier. Would really be great if you could access old footage via your photos or a computer so you can clear out room on your phone for new footage but still have the ability to go back and play with old footage when needed.

I am conflicted about the app. On the one hand it’s slick and does the job, plus they have all these neat tricks like automatically tracking an object. On the other hand the app shows two ads when it starts, and it opens on a completely useless home screen that’s all about the upsell. So I feel like I got what I need, with an extra helping of disrespect. This app is like a very shiny fast car, but they key it on delivery.

Love all the tutorials available on the app and how you instantly join a 360 community. But I really recommend adding Apple Watch shutter function. If this happens this would be a 5 star experience

Camera wireless connection woes

The app will drop the WiFi connection and the camera locks up while recording 360-degree video. It doesn’t happen very often, but I shoot enough for it to happen a few times a day. I would have to manually remove the battery to regain control of the camera. Also, please allow import directly to camera roll for photos and preserve shot time in the metadata. Coming from the Ricoh Theta, file management on the mobile app is a hassle.

There is a spot to go live with RTMP but no slot to enter the stream key for the RTMP which renders it useless , why even have the option? The nano s app lets you live stream to periscope, why does this not let you ? I feel I’ve been ripped off money because I went for the more expensive Insta360 one x . I should of saved a couple hundred dollars and bought the nano s. B.S. sick and tired
iPad 9.7” 2018 crashes on export

It seems to get very bogged down when it gets to the export screen. I tried rebooting and clearing the cache before export. I did export the standard video but when I try exporting 360 video, it crashes halfway through. It also takes a lot of time before it gets to that point and gets quite frustrating. I purchased this iPad just for editing on a larger screen on my trips. Can you guys look into this for a software fix? I just updated to the latest iOS 12.1.4 and that hasn’t helped.

App turns off when camera connects with app. App only works when camera is not connected. Without the app you can’t see what your shooting.
Problems and buggy

The one feature I really wanted to use on the app doesn’t work right for me. When I save a 360 photo to my phone album it saves it as a non 360 photo. I shoot for google street view and like to remove me from the pics by using touchretouch but I can’t because of what I described. On my iPad the app doesn’t work at all it crashes every time I load a pic or video. The phone app is just buggy and also not very intuitive.
