Crashes / Freezes on 11.4

Hi BI - The App has great content! Thank You. I am experiencing continuous crashes and freezes on iOS 11.4 - scrolling through articles causes screen to freeze and then crash/close. I was unable to assess “app support” through the iPhone App Store - which necessitates this review to ensure visibility and corrective action - upon transfer to the App Store to BI the BI App crashed repeatedly. Content rating is FIVE; UX rating is ZERO (currently). Please evaluate and fix the app functionality and I will update my review.

For years I have been reading business insider for my daily news, and it is a fantastic news source. The website is great, however the app has consistently crashed for years and I just can’t imagine how it has not been fixed yet. I can usually get about halfway through an article and then it will crash and exit. If I try to reopen it and go to the same article, it will crash at the same spot. Does this on about 95% or articles I try reading through the app, quite ridiculousl considering it has gone unfixed for years...

App is constantly crashing. It would also be nice to swipe left after reading an article to return to the homepage.
App Crashes Consistently

Great news but the app crashes almost everytime I use it. It is the only app on my iPhone X that crashes. It randomly shuts down and closes out mid article. When I attempt to reload the app, it crashes as soon as I get back to the same point in a specific article that it previously crashed. This causes some articles to not being able to be read at all. Shame, because the news is great and easy to sort out the political overload from most news sites.

I use this app daily and it was my go to app every day however the app keeps crashing!! I have emailed at the feedback email in the app and reported the bug multiple times I have even sent in a video of it crashing. Won’t be using this app any longer time to move on!!
Freezes

Absolute rubbish. App continuously freezes and you can’t scroll. Even after a force close, the app remains frozen.

BI is my favorite source for news but this app needs some serious help. Constantly freezes on launch. List articles with more than 10 items cause the app to force quit. Inline tweets and Instagram posts don’t show inline but rather at the end of the article and then cut off. Freezes when swiping between categories. Freezes when switching between WiFi and cellular. It pains me to write this review because I love BI so much, but this app has become almost unusable to the point I may need a new source of news. Running iPhone X. Please fix!
Ads kill this apps performance

This used to be a really great news source, but the ads make it basically unusable because they cause the app to freeze while they download. I also noticed that my phone heats up significantly when running this app.
