Descent App, works, very involved

Annoyed by video/audio that kicks in after opening a story, without warning. Highly annoying when you’re laying in bed and the other person’s asleep, and a story starts blaring. On older iPhone 6, the audio kicks in, and video is offscreen... you can’t tell where it is coming from. I can only imagine this could be mortifying under other circumstances. Love the content, but after about 5th time, deleted the app.

Pros: Nav is OK. Ads not any more intrusive Cons: No auto rotate (turn your phone, nothing happens). No way to enlarge graphics. Not worth the download or the screen real estate for another button on your phone.

Freezes too often

I read the app every day, but it does freeze too much and I wish you could zoom in on pictures, so many of the graphs are unreadable. Lately it has shown a stronger liberal bias than in the past in terms of how they frame the headlines.

Keeping in Touch

The app has a plethora of articles. I use it mainly to stay in touch with investments, business models and thriving startups. I want to expand my knowledge. This app is wonderful for that.

Clickbait

Used to be good but turned into all clickbait and now they are making you pay for access to their articles that are not clickbait. This used to be a great publication but that’s just not the case anymore.

Update Didn’t Fix Freezing

Updated two days ago for bug fixes. Not sure what bugs were fixed because the app still freezes. If anything, the random freezing seems to be worse.
