Reviews

Too many bugs
Centre-Ville

I use an iPhone X and I can access anything below the bottom bar. Trying to submit this review I could select the stars but not the actual rate us button. How does water work? I try to select a glass to mark my consumption, it fills up then empties immediately not registering the fact I had a glass. The connection to Apple’s Heath App is the most limited I’ve ever seen from an App that claims it’s compatible. I had high hopes for this App as it has the capability of everything I was looking for but largely disappointed in my first week with it.

Lovely, but...
kirsigh

I downloaded Inlivo and immediately saw that premium was on sale for $30, so I purchased it. Despite the money coming out of my account, it seems I still don’t have premium access. The chat bot is still offering it to me. Unless I’m doing something wrong..?

Good
venusmist

Good but, I took away a star for a couple things I hope they change. I think it’s a great weight loss app because it is more interactive. Two things I’d like to see on it though- Breakfast, lunch and dinner and snack sections, so I can see each portion of my day. And ability to sync with my Fitbit would be extremely helpful.

Can it be 10+?
aquanoodles

I am ten and used to have this app but deleted it only because of the age limit. The app didn’t kick me out or tell me to wait till is was10 it still let me use it. ?

It is a very generic app Needs a lot of work.
Wanda's hair

I have been using it for over 2 months, (because, I paid for premium before I actually tried it for more than two days) Therefore I will give my best review in hopes the developers can improve, for their sake. It is not worth it to spend the money for the premium. There is no added features that are worth anything the auto‘s response coaching never changes. in fact my premium status keep switching off and it takes me a long time to notice. Even with their “programs and personalized” plans still get the auto bot responses. The miscommunication on nutrition is as confusing. In one section they will tell you that eggs are a good source of vitamin D in the next they will tell you that you’ve taken in to much cholesterol if you eat two in one day. The daily motivation and challenges are repetitive. Dose track food, however since most food is added to their system through users there’s a lot of inaccuracies. I get the impression that this is app is run by a very well-meaning group of individuals who are incapable of keeping up with demand and success of the app therefore they are using cheap, generic, and repetitive tactics to fill in. It seems the idea had been to use personalize, accurate information but that is not the outcome.

Not bad
DaniNevins

It’s not a bad app, very pretty and easy. However for the price, I’d expect to be able to personalize and change the calorie goals, macros and so forth and I can’t from what I see. I’d like to know how to get a refund since I just purchased it and it doesn’t really fit my needs. Update 4/22 Hey, I haven’t received the email instructions for the refund. Can you please resend or post here?

Love the app, hate the icon & support
MommyLeahK

I've tried all the major fitness and nutrition tracking apps and this one is by far the best. That being said, when they changed the logo to lady abs (which is annoying in itself) I sent the company my feedback telling them I really didn't like the change. Usually I don't care about stuff like that, but in this case I think the change is problematic - "I would rather not broadcast out to the world that I have an app I'm using to lose weight. A simple icon is so much more appealing, discreet, and not to mention shaming for the many users who do not appear to be in great health yet." The response I received was totally condescending. "We understand how a “simple” icon would be more appealing to you... However, not sure why you would be ashamed of others and the fact that you’re trying to lose weight. Remember, the only opinion that matters is the one you have about yourself. Our goal here is to inspire and motivate you to take action and get the results you deserve, and be the best version of yourself (mentally, physically and emotionally)." I'm not ashamed of others or the fact that I'm trying to lose weight. Does that mean I want abs on my home screen for the world to see in an instant? No. That's my private business. The fact that they suggested that it's me who is actually ashamed and somehow missing the point if I'm not inspired by the generic white girl abs icon is insulting. Every other icon on my phone looks like an icon, not a photo. There's a reason for that. It is so much simpler and quicker for the eyes to locate a two color image than a multicolor photo. I actually haven't used the app since I got that email response. But I paid $60 for it so I'll be damned if I let it just sit there and not use it. Like I said, the app itself is great. The design & support team - not so much.

Good App
cardinalX07

Good app overall, but would like to request the following for a 5 star rating: 1) ability to show the different predicted and recommended weight markers (i.e. Let us click on the data points and have the app show what the anticipated weight will be and the anticipated actual date based on the current date) 2) allow the user to select at which rate they want to lose weight (1, 2, 3... lbs/week) and have the daily calorie goals change based on that. It is too confusing to understand based on an "activity level". Or tell the user how many calories the app is assuming they burn based on the three activity levels 3) when I change my goal weight I notice that I have to click on the daily summary for the previous day in order for the calorie goal to change on today's summary page, please make it so that the change happens immediately after changing the goal weight. This is probably a bug and was not meant to work this way. 4) separate the food and nutrition section by meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, etc) 5) Allow premium users the ability to remove unwanted sections (I don't want or have a need to see a section about winning a Sephora gift card) 6) change the app icon to a more gender neutral image

Great daily reminders
Bantina

Love the daily reminders. They tend to catch me off guard and make me realize that I have a full day to make good healthy choices. They also send reminders that are small and easily attainable which makes you feel in control with a high rate of success for doing well.

Good but..
ofajen

It has lots of important things but much of the app is only for premium. I have EDS (look it up) so..... also, how do you track your steps?
