Stay informed with this brilliant app!
Really like the layout of this app. Allows for quick overview of most Apple headlines and sources you might want. The ability to rearrange the news feed sources to personal taste is great. (I like AppleInsider listed first) Would have given this app a 5-star rating if it had one extra feature. It needs the ability to adjust how many lines of text are readable from the 'Headlines' page. Currently, you can read only part of the first sentence, one line, which often isn't enough. Like with Mac Mail, it would be really nice to adjust how many lines of text show in the headline preview page. I suggest up to 5 lines. Thanks. Keep up the great work.
I've used the TUAW news app for quite a while now, and I was looking for an app with a broader range of Apple/Mac news. This app is nice in that it references a good many other news feeds and presents them in a customizable portion - I've chosen 5 sources that I want the app to present offerings to me. I really like it EXCEPT: When I try to get app support, I'm sent to what looks like an all German web site. I wanted to contact the developer directly about the following problem but I don't speak the language on their site. The biggest disappointment is that app is a space hog! The app itself is only around 4.4 MB - So why does it currently occupy 55+ MB of space on my iPhone? I could understand the app caching articles, but why does it not auto-clear or even offer the option to clear its cache? (IF that's what it's actually holding onto!). Right now, I have to delete the app, then reinstall it to keep reigning in its space gobbling appetite. Not a terrible app by any means, after all I still enjoy using it, however just what is it storing on my phone?
I've been looking for an app such as this one for my iPad for some time and was quite pleased when I stumbled upon this one. The UI is acceptable, but not fantastic, and it ends up directing you to the web page of the article if you choose to read the whole thing. Both of these little issues would have been fine, however, if the app didn't take so long to receive and display the news information. It takes about 15 seconds for the app to start up, and then another 15 seconds for it to refresh its sources every time leave an article. Hopefully this will be fixed, but I'm not holding my breath as this is a free app.
This app gives you as much apple news as your tummy can take. On 3GS I'm having stability issues, otherwise I'd give 5 stars.
Tried many multiple news apps, but this is all Mac and there's never to much. Hey, I like it.
Love this app. Has all the websites I usually go to in one. I wish it was compatible with the iPhone 5's bigger screen though.
Great way to check up on your apple news quick and easy. Need to update to for the iPhone 5. The big screen would make this even better!!
Not sure why but it takes long time to load the news. Besides that great UI
Seems like it would be a decent app, but it keeps crashing. When it does work, takes too long to connect.
