Good, but needs an update. ?

SDiamond08

I absolutely love this app! I use it to edit my YouTube videos but there is one problem. I use iMovie on my phone and it’s very different from the laptops. I barely use the laptop so if you could make the app like the laptop version, I would give 5 stars. ?

What the heck

I keep trying to download this app but its not working! I keep trying and trying but it just doesn’t load!

Decent but could be better

AMWASC

This is good for 5 dollars. I use it for some things. Some of the features are helpful and it is good for its price. The problem is there are features that other editing softwares and apps have that iMovie does not have. As some other reviews mentioned, you should be able to move the music around and not just crop it. iMovie is more of a basic editing software compared to some others, and I would like to do more things on it. You made your own screen recorder, so why don’t you make iMovie better?

Who made that boring Music ?

Eric bLyons

When iMovie first came out, I loved sending people videos of our day or month. But now the same sound is borrowing deep into my head and making me noxious. I think it would be great with more sounds added. I would give this a 5* but Music brings the Video to life.

Keeps crashing!!

Hamidont

I am on iPhone 6S Plus and every time I open it, it crashes. And when it does work, if I add media to my project, it crashes. FIX THIS PLEASE.

Perfect for beginners

This app is amazing, especially for filmmakers just starting out. It's helps with the fundamentals of editing before using something more robust like final cut. I definitely would recommend this.

Really good but...

Katelyn D'Henin

It's good. But I personally don't think it's worth how much I paid for it. Needs more updates. I have a lot of photos so I can't go to my recents and then I have to scroll all the way down and that's annoying. But other than that, it makes awesome edits, and I use my edits for musical.ly and funimate. I also edit the on video star, but sometimes iMovies don't save so I can't add the effect from video star. Also iMovies in general take like 10 minutes to save and if I'm trying to get edits up, I can only do one at a time.

I'm content...

Spencer Ace

I was impressed with iMovie for what it allowed me to do an iPhone. It matched my highest expectations; so overall, I'm content. A couple things though: 1) Slow motion is atrocious 2) Needs more sound effects 3) Gets glitchy if a video is longer than 7-8 mins 4) If you make a slideshow-thing in iMovie, and then later you delete ONE of the photos from your camera roll that was in your iMovie, it won't let you watch/ download the movie anymore 5) Also not great with audio while recording, although I think that's more of an iPhone problem than an iMovie problem. Overall, is the app worth buying? If you need a simple, easy-to-use video editor for a short, not-too-important project, then yes. Otherwise, I'd say use a different program if you can afford it. (Also the trailer programs are very kid-friendly)
