The app gets the job done, but with the new iphone 13 its almost like it cant handle its features . On my Previous iPhone it did alot better . but now it just lags and crashes especially with cinematic mode. its very frustrating bc overall its a pretty good and user friendly app . but that definitely needs an update.

Terrible app that could be great

No portrait mode which means you have to edit sideways and then rotate after if you want to edit a story. Basic functionality in general. Limited output settings. Apple could’ve something much more usable.

Ok so i've had this app for a couple years and its really fun and a free way to edit ur videos. Despite this, there are few things i dont like. First off, it takes up so much storage just for a tiny video clip. Second, i made a video on here in which took me SO much time, and i deleted all the little video clips from my camera roll which made the video. Then i tried to watch the video i'd created, and it said that i couldn't watch it because the videos were missing. But i thought that was the point? To keep my video in the app? Anyways, thirdly, i'd like to add that the volume of the audio of my videos changes without me touching anything, which can ruin the whole video. Ok, i've said it all i think.

Apple can you make it so that when I delete a video from my photo app iMovie will save that deleted video on my project so I can watch my movies again?

I need this for one thing, highlight a player for soccer, not possible, what a waste of time for me! That should be an option in the actual app…now I have days of wasted time for a video I cannot share. Also it is a 12 minute video that cannot be sent via email. Not sure what type of a movie is allowed using this app.

I really want to put a Spider-man song in my movie but it says something about a DRM. Can you please make an option where at the beginning of the movie you can put “the rights to Spider-Man belong to Sony pictures and Marvel studios/comics. This is a nonprofit film etc. “

This app could be soooo much better. 1) It crops my videos when I upload them without me knowing until the upload is finished. You have to crop the original and guess what is ideal for the app in order to not have important parts cut out. This is annoying when it already takes so long for the app to upload some of the content. 2) It takes forever to upload videos and unable to retrieve larger files above 10min from what I observe. For an iPhone app, these videos should be available off top or some of the features in camera mode should be available (like speeding up the video) in order to make viewing it in iMovie easier. 3) downloads from iCloud take FOREVER… so don’t delete a video from your phone in the process of editing a project or it will frustrate you greatly. 4) SLLLLOOOOWWWW…. Oh my goodness!!!! 5) Always says there’s not enough memory on phone… even though there is. Just fix this already… I’m over it. This is why I have issue with iPhone. I was good until I was reminded of these headaches dealing with creating/editing small videos. These apps should integrate better with the the phone or there is just no point in having them on the phone. Maybe iPhone overall is just slow. I’m starting to rethink this Apple thing. I have a 12 Pro and I’m sure the same issues exist on the 13.
