It works for your phone but it just feels like a let down. There are so many features on the mac version that is lost for the mobile. Just basic fading of picture in picture, not being able to use photos as the second layer of film, a reduced pick of transitions, etc. Also I have found when I film with Filmic Pro in slow motion 1080p, iMovie won’t export the finished clip on anything but 720p...

The app is great, it’s just so buggy, it’s nearly unusable. There are so many different stupid problems I face every time I edit a video. Please fix this app.
So much BUGS

Bruh I just lost my whole video. When i opened the app to my 6 min movie project, all the video was, was a black screen and my hard work was gone. Before that though all the audio started getting messed up and switching. So much other BUGS also affected my editing PLEASE FIX.

I’ve been using iMovie for about 6 months to make 15 minute movies on my phone for my YouTube channel and I often get glitches that cause me an hour or more to fix. They include: black screen at the end of clips, double video clips at the beginning of clips, music slipping from where it was placed and strange edits popping onto clips where the edits were not made, like sped up sound on regular speed clips when the clip before it was sped up. Overall, it is too glitchy to work with unless you are producing very basic videos without added music.

Apple doesn’t care anymore. I hate it bc I took 2 hours to make a stupid YouTube video and then the app GLITCHED and moved all MY AUDIOS THAT TOOK ME FOREVER TO GET RIGHT, in random places! I’m sueing. See you in court apple ??????

Many defects and lags and glitches. Nothing like the Mac version very limited features and very difficult to edit in. Fix your app apple.

I have tried to do the voice over 3 times and it has kept stoping on 11:39 minutes I’m getting tired of it and thinking about moving to an Android if this continues
