It keeps Crashing!

Supermanjakeys

I was making a talking Tom video that is over 10 minutes but now it crashed. I Opened the App again but when I touched the play button, it crashed again! I opened it again and scrolled to the right and Crashed! But I opened it again and I pressed “Done” But It didn’t crash so I got back to edit and It turned out It was working but I scrolled further to the right but now It crashed. So you guys need to fix it!

While he e App is great it fails to verify youtube account properly

Ahstewie

I’d love to give this a good rating but it is frustrating that while a person’s youtube account can and does allow uploading of video of more than 15 minutes it seems that iMovie itself refuses to accept this information and rejects the upload saying that Youtube only allows uploads of 15 minutes or less. There is nothing worse than working on a masterpiece and then having to save the finished movie to the photo’s app and then go into Youtube and upload the video from there instead. It means double the processing and if I had any hair left on my head to pull I’d be pulling it out. Time is money and this failure to work for video’s that are greater than 14 minutes and 59 seconds just wastes time while it compiles and spends several minutes looking like it is doing something only to have it throw a hissy fit and quit working. Especially when the upload was being done over mobile you need to get it right first time every time or just say that you don’t upload to Youtube at all and must save the file and use the youtube app to upload it but not make us jump through hoops then disappoint us like eating a BLT sandwich only to find it is Turkey Bacon...

Don’t Delete Your Content!!!!

Far Too Late Again

iMovie has disappointed me terribly. So I was putting together clips in iMovie for my documentary when my iPhone’s storage began to get full. To fix this I deleted some of the clips used to film my movie and sent them to my recently deleted folder. I kept on filming and even though they were deleted my clips all stayed in my movie. So I kept on filming and my storage kept on getting full so Apple suggested that I clear my recently deleted folder and delete everything in it. So I followed Apple’s instructions without a thought. I went back into iMovie, but was shocked to find that all of my footage had disappeared. A message popped up telling me I should look for this footage in my recently deleted folder, WHICH HAD JUST BEEN CLEARED. A little too much, a little too late iMovie. I cannot retrieve any of my footage (I had a whole hour of it) and my countless hours of hard work have gone to waste. I was so mad and sad that I started crying when I saw this notification. All of my footage was spontaneous and cannot be recreated. What really makes me mad, however, is that Apple and iMovie FAILED TO NOTIFY ME OF THE DANGERS OF DELETING ME FOOTAGE UNTIL AFTER IT HAD BEEN DELETED. It almost seemed like Apple wanted me to delete all of my footage. Please fix this Apple!!!!!! I don’t what others to go through what I went through. At least I have learned though to never trust Apple ever again. You guys have broken my trust and it will be hard to repair it.

screen recording audio

?????

iMovie is great but when you do a When recording and you put the microphone on it catches your audio in in normal Camera but when you put it in iMovie and create a movie It doesn’t have the audio and when you put a lot of hard work on the gameplay and go back to edit it in iMovie it doesn’t work because the audio is now gone and there is nobody talking is just a person moving around. please consider doing an update where in screen recording when you have your microphone on you keep the audio when you go to iMovie to edit it edit it

Pretty good movies for chicks but didn't mind watchung

2 bothersome things

Hydra Power

iMovie is a great IOS editor don’t get me wrong but their are two things that makes me give 4 stars instead of 5 stars. First off the text options are horrible in my opinion, you only get a few set options with annoying transitions. The text also can’t change size, color, font, or move around/place on the video/photo, most editors have these basic options it is weird to see a corporation like apple not implant these features to a basic editor. Photos also cannot be placed on videos for some odd reason, and again most basic editors have these options. But all that side, iMovie is great and did most things right like cropping and photo/video transitions. The app also comes with great sound effects. The app could add more advance options for professional editors but I understand it’s just trying to be a basic editor so, I excuse iMovie for that.

A horrible glitch

Nemri

So I made a 10 minute movie and the audio sounds perfect in iMovie but after I export the movie the audio becomes mixed up and distorted and just completely silenced. PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS APPLE!!!love the app tho..

Problems with iMovie

AdoubleD4

Three times in one day, I’ve worked over 20 minutes making the same edit, and every time I’m almost done all of the slides go black and won’t play or produce sound. I’ve given up using this app even thought it has been pretty trustworthy and useful throughout the last few years, but now I can even put together an edit without it crashing.

Love this app
