Okay so this app is amazing it’s so easy to use and I love I wish there was more font options though because it has been the same ones for a while but overall it’s amazing I would recommend

I have been using iMovie in my iPhone for years just for its convenience. However, I dislike the fact that you can’t do movies in portrait mode. I feel that instagram and vertical videos have been on trend for years now and this is still an option that the app lacks. Another thing is that it has this really annoying bug where out of nowhere, the movie goes black and anything loads up again. So, this makes a non-reliable app if you’re trying to do important projects in it. I tried closing the app completely and then reopen it again. Then I tried by deleting the app and reinstalled back (I did check that my iCloud was on) but now I don’t have any of my movies available. Huge disappointment.

I used to love iMovie but now it causes me nothing but frustration. I’m told by support that I’m not the only one to have lost ability to upload to YouTube, Vimeo,etc. they just disappeared. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and YouTube and Vimeo several times. Still didn’t fix the issue. Videos longer than 15 minutes refuse to save onto my phone or OneDrive even when I have 18GB free on my phone and the videos are 3GB or less! Have spoken to support 3 times and there didn’t seem to be any rush to fix the app, restore YouTube upload capabilities or a workaround to videos not saving apart from me having to spend money for an editing app that actually works or spending hours and days cutting videos down to less than 15 minutes and still spending hours in multiple attempts to get the videos to save to my phone. It’s been months these issues have existed and I’m not clear why no updates have been created to fix these issues. Be warned if you download the app. It doesn’t work well for longer projects.

Can you update the app a bit because I deleted pne of my videos PERMANENTLY and the iMovie I spent HOURS ON won’t save. Thanks a lot??

Now this is my favorite because it is free unlike other editing apps. But the downside is that it says these videos are downloaded from icould and doesn’t work it is very frustrating. Try and fix that for me, thanks for a free app!
