The first night I used it I thought it was pretty cool! There are other apps that do the same thing, this is just one with more hassle- Really upset that I used this app one night and then the next night it wouldn’t let me connect fully to Spotify- I could see the player but the light wasn’t synced. I tried reaching out and I was told that they were working on it, but several days later it isn’t working. Shame that I paid for the upgraded version, hopefully it gets fixed soon

Really bring your Hue to life! It’s actually intelligent and responsive to your music. Really cool when you use it in a space surrounded by some of the newer-generation Hue lights, like the outdoor lightstrips. Definitely one of my favorite apps ever! Highly recommended!!

It only triggers one bulb at a time rather then a immersive party experience with multiple lights going on and off all around you. It also doesn’t have enough light action most of the time I play a song and I find myself just sitting in the dark... not a good app would like a refund

i uninstalled both LightShow and Spotify after it didn’t work like the instructions said and it still says “no track detected.” this has the possibility to be a great app and i was very excited about it but it just doesn’t work for me. i realize this might be an isolated incident cause a lot of people seem to like it, but that doesn’t change the fact that it doesn’t work for me.

The price for hue sync is over $200 . This does the job for your music which is all I wanted for

Application does not work when app is minimized. When in use, effects are ineffective and slow.

I listen primarily to music podcasts. This app doesn’t support light syncing with the new Podcast app.

The light show stops working if you close the app

This app is lots of fun for the kids dance parties. Better than others since it can sync with Apple Music, Spotify and even sonos. It analyzes the music instead of just using the mic with produces way better light show as a result. Also can run in the background. 5 stars!!

I downloaded both this app and Hue Disco yo see which I liked more. Even with a 2.5 star rating (not sure why) Hue Disco blows this app out of the water. ILightShow is more expensive, not great at staying on beat, and getting Spotify to connect when you first open the app is a headache. This app has unnecessary settings that just complicate its use. I also find the whole “free to download but pay $6 in the app to use more than one light and custom settings” thing really sneaky and just not good business. I’d much rather have been told up front that the app cost money to have full range.
