Syncing doesn’t work out if app

Just downloaded the app after looking at many reviews. The lights will not sync to the music if the app is closed despite that I in fact already have checked off “background mode” in my settings. Another thing to add that would be great- more color preset options.
Great app with a few problems

Love this app. Except for a few things. After your latest update the app is unable to detect and connect with any LIFX bulbs. Also the background mode is buggy would love for it to be fixed
Best for Apple Music or Sonos Users

Used this app years ago and went away until I recently saw it mentioned again on Reddit (in relation to the philips hue sync box and Spotify integration). I’ve used the free Spotify integration and I have two hue sync boxes. Hands down, this app works the BEST for music syncing if you use Apple Music or sonos. This required the least maintenance, looks the best, and I was able to “sync” with my sonos speaker (rather than sync with my phone). Really cool and totally worth it.
Lights don’t sync with music well at all!

I’ve tried everything with this app and for some reason the lights have a mind of their own and don’t flash with the beat of the music at all. They just flash and do random things and random times. I’ve adjusted all the settings but still does not help. Would be nice if they added a metronome feature to fine tune the beat of the music to the lights.

I’ve been a long time user and I have to say I’m disappointed in how poorly this works with Apple Music. It is t Integrated well and the lights freeze more often than not. Really hoping to see this get fixed.

It’s currently 3:43 in the morning not sure if the time is the same for the developer of the app. I just wanted to point out that he answered and fixed all of my questions. I highly recommend this app !
Read the Reviews/Just Use Pc

I had this app downloading, then took the time to read the reviews. Apparently the company can’t put (lite) edition on the cover of the app to indicate it’s not the full version? Also why on earth would I want to try a music experience out with a single bulb? Honestly just be up front and sell it on the store, not tempt people into a download just to fiddle with one light and uninstall. Honestly more than I did. I’ll use the Hue sync app on my PC and ITunes directly. false advertising. poor choice, could have had my business.
