So I have the free version and wanted to purchase but it does nothing. I can play songs on Apple Music, the selected song appears in iLightShow, and I can activate 1 light, but the light does nothing. I have tried to change to another Iight but still nothing. I was ready to purchase, but there is no use purchasing an “upgraded version” if the free version won’t even control one light.

I’ve had this app for years and could play music from my phone and sync with the lights. Now you have to pay to add lights and use Apple Music or Spotify?

This app lets me sync my Philips Hue Go lamps to music. I absolutely love this functionality. The effect looks amazing. I do tend to set the effects to ‘chill’, as I find ‘auto’ and ‘party’ change to quickly to my taste. When I used the app to play jungle sounds (yoga type music) I was absolutely amazed by the effect. One bug that I hope to see changed in a future update: I normally play my music on two connected HomePods. When I use Airplay from the music app, the paired HomePods are visible as an option. However, from this app I can only select one of the HomePods; the second one cannot be seen. I found a workaround (that is a bit of a hazzle) though: if I set the Airplay from the app to my AppleTV, I can then change the Airplay in the Apple Music app to switch to my paired HomePod.

This is a great app that allows you to connect your music to your hue lights. It’s awesome! You do need to pay I believe 4.99 or 5.99 to add more than (1) light but it’s totally worth it.

There is no option to use airplay with homepods and Apple Music. iPhone will automatically transfer the stream to homepods. So it just doesn’t work.

This app is okay, it let's you sync your music to the lights but from time to time, the lights lag a bit. I wish they would allow more control over the light and add features such as strobe, disco, etc. All in all, not bad

I downloaded this app expecting for it to work off of ANY background music meaning my radio or any background platform that I choose but apparently you can only work off of Spotify or Apple Music. Don’t understand why i have to be forced to use those apps. Also... it only lets you saying one bulb. Any additional bulb! For any additional bulb, have to upgrade to premium subscription... lame.

This app cost $6. The “free” version does next to nothing. It only works with one light bulb. Not worth the time it took to set up.
