The screen on the app shows “iDiskk is not connected.” And there is nothing I can do. It’s garbage.

I was about to return this device! But then one of the reviews suggested turning off the internet connection! Apparently it’s trying to send the data to China and back! Works fine now ! Also another setting change go to settings privacy photos and in check privacy!

We got this for our iPad and the only thing we can move are pictures and Movies. The Music we can't even get it to see the music, even if we are playing it does not show up, even my MP3 music. Why only pictures and PDF files come up when you click iPad? Still no response from this app maker.

This is a copy from an Amazon user “The card reader works “as advertised”, it reads photographs and video taken from a regular camera or video camera ONLY... if your source of video is something else, like for example what the majority of Americans and other nation’s use like dash cameras.. THIS OR ANY OTHER READER WON’T WORK, sadly. Apple decided to block everything in order to “protect itself from PIRACY”, because Apple is not doing anyone a favor by changing their iOS security since the 9th version of that OS: “only picture/video files under DCIM folder and with 8 ASCII character name will be viewed and read by iOS”, that leaves any video file outside that folder (like inside one named diferently) and with long “time stamp names” like Dash Cams produce. This device works fine, I gave it to a photographer friend and go figure “it only worked on one of her cameras” as different brands are not compatible with iOS. It’s not the device’s fault, all have to endure this conundrum... WHAT IS REALLY WRONG IS THIS AND EVERY DEVICE READER MANUFACTURER NOT ADVERTISING ALL THIS INFORMATION CORRECTLY... they are literally making a profit from the people who require a device to read video files taken with their dash cams... even search engines have limited information about this. In other words if your dash cam, hell if your regular camera doesn’t fulfill these requirements DON’T BUY THIS DEVICE, DON’T BUY ANY OTHER... only a Windows PC (MacOS has issues too, geez!) will handle the files correctly. Buy a USB reader, USB 3.0 if your PC has one... or better yet change handheld to Android as those work fine. It’s sad the level of censorship Mr Cook promotes into the world for the users of his company’s gadgets... and i Can’t say Google is any less than him.”

Every time I try to transfer the data from the usb to the phone it doesn’t work.After it downloads it kicks me out of the app with no transfer EVERYTIME I’m trying to watch a video it doesn’t play and after that the app freezes with nothing to do I don’t recommend this app until they fix this
Directions are useless

This is supposed to work on iPad, but the directions (which are poorly written) don’t match what is displayed. I was only able to back up photos and even those didn’t copy into the correct sub-files. It doesn’t recognize or let me copy/move other files at all.
Disk doesn’t work after a year.

Loved my IDiskk since I bought it about 9 months ago. It has done exactly what I needed and was very easy to operate.

I bought the Idiskk (2TB) and downloaded this app. It did not work. No customer support whatsoever. I had a computer geek try to figure it out and he was unable to. Did not work at all
