Outstanding design software

wx2junior

This software is incredibly useful. I've used it on 2 different wood working projects and now for my patio project I'm working on. The layers and being able to set the scale are extremely helpful along with object snapping etc. Editing individual points is really cool as well, being able to grab them by their handles to see where you are placing them... I am a visual planning type of person and it is very helpful to me to have such a powerful tool. I've also downloaded this developers Mac OSX version and I love it too. I once found an issue in the OSX version of this software, I contacted the company and they had it fixed in less than 2 weeks. I really appreciate great software and even more so developers who care about their product.

O.K.

Visionhorse

I would like this App better if it didn't crash so darn much.

Crashes

DCT76

So flat I have this app for les than 30 min and it continual crashes back to the iPad home screen. I tried the support link in the App page and the link is no good. At this point I feel like I wasted my money. My only hope is that I will receive a response to my review from support at which time I will change my rating.

Full Featured Vector Drawing Program

brianSD

I was looking for some like Corel Draw and this app was perfect. Well laid out.

Too crashy for cost

Ptownpb

Great, full fledged drawing app! Needs optimization.

Has potential but is currently very buggy

Mean Mother Nature

I have a love/hate relationship with this app. When it's working, it works well for my project. It's intuitive enough that someone with no real background in drafting (like me) can use it. However, it constantly crashes. Sometimes the crash is followed by random lines appearing in my drawings which I then have to clean up. It also tends to bog down when I try to copy/paste more than once or twice. Bottom line: I expected a more stable product for what I paid.

Dont waste your money

nlarsen619

This app is expensive considering its functionality. I say that because while it has the potential for being very productive it falls short by a lot. A simple thing like having to reselect the draw tool after EVERY single stroke? Really? That is like a very basic function that you would think the developer would notice. That alone is enough to make me realize i just wasted money i could have used to support a REAL vector drawing app. I am disappointed that this isnt streamlined workflow at all.

Designer

What a ridiculously horrible app. $15 to get 80% of the way through a design on multiple occasions only to have the app crash again and again and again and again and again. If I could give this app a negative star rating I would give it a -10. Unfortunately, I don't think I can get my money back because there's no contact info for the app designers.

Bad!

Gella333

The worst I've seen. Cluttered, complicated, confusing, time consuming. I can't even say anything good about it. It's sad, because it looked so promising :(

Not a CAD app

GenaF

It is not a CAD app. I was told that, and in a pretty irked form, by the app support. I asked about several tools that are absent or function not CAD-like (chamfers and dimensions) and the support person responded - "If at all you do not find iDesign useful without these features, please contact AppStore via your iTunes account - report a problem link and you can get a refund." Nice.... Not a " Thank you", not a " will think about implementing it in next updates ". Just " take your money and go away "
