Disappointing web presence

I had been with ICMA for a few years through a former employer. That employer switched away from ICMA due to some difficulty with the service, which was fine with me, as I had experienced some of those difficulties. I subsequently changed employees, and was disappointed to see that ICMA was the company handling the 457 plan. But it had been a few years, so I was hopeful that ICMA had been able to up their game. No such luck. Here are the major issues I am seeing with the app: 1. When you turn on the app, you are not immediately logged in. Logging in is a three step process, each process taking several seconds (think 15-20 seconds per step). 2. The login process actually times out from time to time, and that is when it’s connected to my WiFi. Cellular is not an option for this app in my area (the capital city of Olympia). 3. The account aggregation tool often has difficulty updating linked account balances. I often get an error message telling me that ICMA is having a particular problem with my main retirement, and cannot update; they can “typically update within 24 hours”. On the bright side, the customer service people are super friendly. I believe these types of things are a result of systemic management issues within the company, and not the fault of individual employees. This company has always had difficulty communicating financial information, and they always will. I imagine my new employer will take a similar path as my former employer did for that reason.

For over 25 years, I have enjoyed using ICMA to supplement my pension. Now its trademark service is revealed in this useful, convenient app. Everything I need to know is attractively organized and displayed.
Horrible App

Terrible app. Can’t even log in. When you hit log-in the screen flashes and nothing happens. I have always had issues with this app. I hope they put more effort into managing my retirement then they do the tech they offer customers. Sad thing is there are bad reviews going back for two years yet the problems don’t get fixed. Not very customer friendly for someone managing all our money. Update: still doesn’t work. Doesn’t seem they care abut the app. Just use your browser.

New app is working much better! OTP feature is working well on my iPhone and no issues. Using finger print to sign is great. Thank You!
The app is a joke

It is basically a scaled down version of the web page. How about a section that lists all the funds, the YTD return, 5 year etc...

I just downloaded the app, set up my username and password, and logged in fine. Awesome. Tried to log back in 45 minutes later and my “username and password were incorrect”. After multiple attempts and my account being locked then unlocked then locked again I gave up. Day 1 review: useless.
Set-up impossible

I could not set up the account as I could not get past the birthdate entry. I inputted it exactly as the format required (mm/did/yyyy) but it kept telling me it was not in the correct format. I don’t wish to spend an in ordinate amount of time to set this account up. And looking at the reviews, I see at least one other person had the same difficulty.
Please update the app

This app needs a lot of work , loggin in with facetime is very frustrating. A better design would be appreciated as well.
