Reviews are high for a reason: lunch money for a serious app, and easier to use than many MM apps on Mac or PC. Watch the video for all the training you will require. Google "mind mapping" to expand your horizons and you will use iBS daily.

Best app I've ever downloaded

Not only is it the best app I've used on the App Store, its the best mind mapping tool I've used on any platform. Mind mapping is so much more valuable when you can do it on the fly rather than sitting in front of a computer. iBlueSky uses the IPhone's touch screen to create a beautiful and easy to use user experience. At any point in your mapping, you can email the results to yourself or others in simple image formats or other mind map formats so that your ideas are not trapped inside your phone.

This app is worth the $8. I like that it exports out to so many different Mind Mapping Software extentions and PDF. Some great features that would be nice is the ability to link project files to other project files. Also a true export function would be preferred that you could send in your own e-mail or sync to a computer, as another user pointed out, I would not be comfortable exporting anything that may be confidential, but for general brainstorming it works great. Had an issue recently where could not send my files to myself, due to having a "/" in the project name, spent a couple of days corresponding with Tenero on the problem, but it sounds like it has been resolved. If this app allowed me to export locally to sync or out of my personal e-mail, I would have given this app 5 for 5 stars, but otherwise it is a nice app.
Worth the price

This is a pretty impressive app. I read up on a few of these mind-mapping apps before I decided on this one. It was the priciest, but it also came with the best reviews. I'm not disappointed at all. It took a bit to get the hang of moving the bubbles around, but once I figured it out, it made spending the money on this well worth it. A few things I would like to see to make this a perfect app would the option of a passcode, icons, and the ability to change colors (right now it chooses the color for you). All in all, this is a very easy to use, intuitive app for laying out your thoughts visually.

This program is very powerful, yet simple and intuitive to use. For me, it's the best app I've purchased.....which is saying something; I've got 8 pages of apps. I find that doing a "mind map" makes things much clearer for me. I can do a mind map; then I can work on any section of it I need to. I actually use this program in conjuction with a goal setting/achieving program. The combination has proven to be very powerful. A nice added touch for me would be the ability to have the option to put a Strike-out mark through any branches you've completed.

I'm totally impressed with this app. Great execution and design; the developer really understands how to leverage the unique capabilities of the iphone to deliver a truly valuable user experience. I actually prefer doing my mind mapping on the iPhone instead of on my computer, so the app has acheived a major milestone for this user. The export capabilities are superb in enabling easy access to mind maps and encourages collaboration. I can't say enough how great this app is. Well worth the nominal fee.

This app hasn't been updated in ages. I'm starting to question the developer's committment to this application. Particularly considering the many outstanding issues. Visually, the app is stunning, but sadly, it ends there. My biggest gripe is that this app is plagued with being able to handle only very short nodes. Any node of significant length distorts and runs well off the edge of the map. Honestly, this alone makes it unsuitable for all but the simplest of maps. Which is a shame, because this app would otherwise have potential.

For the price I was expecting more features. Good Idea. I usually draw these by hand. Hopefully the creator of this app improves it before someone comes out with a stronger mindmap app with the features we are hoping for. I'm reducing to a 1 star as I come back on March 7 and STILL no updates. Shame. Coulda been the leader in the mind mapping field.
