New York Times article on i-Clickr Remote:

"PowerPoint presentations and the like are a bit easier to control remotely because, presumably, they are being viewed through a laptop. But the benefit is considerable. No longer tethered to your laptop, you can move around the room while still holding in your hand an image of what’s on the screen behind you. No more of that weird over-the-shoulder karaoke move when checking to see where you are in the presentation."

Go to your next PowerPoint presentation IN STYLE with i-Clickr Remote for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch!

Works

iPhone 3GS MacBook and PowerPoint 2008. Software worked as advertised. The ad hoc mode for use when you do not have a wifi connction could be easier to use.

Tricked my math teacher, Connected to his computer and messed with his computer

Needs work

Crashes if you stop presentation on PC then try to change slides. No way to end the presentation from the iPhone. Also, no way to gracefully exit the connection other than closing the app.

If you can live without your notes in your hand...
JTins

If you can live with having your notes on your laptop screen rather than in your hand, I would recomment getting the Air Mouse application. As with this application, you can control your Powerpoints without having to be connected to a separate Wi-Fi network. You can also control the rest of your computer. i-Clickr is a good application, but the $1.99 Air Mouse is of much greater value than a $9.99 program that can often be glitchy.

Not bad!

Great application to use. A lot of previous people who posted negatively about the product aren't computer proficient but it's easy to set up and no problems were encountered. Maybe can be improve by otherwise. it's a great investment.

Simply amazing!

I needed this for my speech class in college, and this app worked flawlessly! The app is simple to use, and gets the job done without fuss I can't thank the developers enough.

Can't connect

I put in my ip adress and its not working...terrible

Like the app but.....too pricey for full version
T. Rapoza

I like this free app but REALLY! $10 for the full version? It would have to be 5 stars for that coin. I am a bit weary of buying it then having it crash in me. Maybe for $5. Not for $10. Sorry.

Connections
Love bein country

If it won't connect with your ip address, you need to install bonjour from apple, make sure both your computer and your iPhone/iPod Touch are both connected to the Internet, open iclickr on your computer, then open iclickr app , and choose connect with bonjour.
