Easy to use and most recipes are excellent.

Ignores Phone Settings

App developers override settings not to allow in-app review requests. Since they decided to override my preferences and ask for a review, here it is...

Many good recipes that are easy to use, but the indexing is bad. Alphabetical lists are not in keyword order.

Love the book. The app seems a bit out of date.

happyrobot

There have been a few updates to the back-end of the app but the interface and design seems a bit long in the tooth. Buggy “featured recipe”. Buggy search. Kind of generally buggy. Is it worth $9? For the content: yes. For the app interface and build quality: nope

Great wealth of information

Very thorough. Sure to satisfy both novice and experienced cooks.

Nice App

I like this app but it would be nice if they would occasionally put some new recipes in. The recipes in it are great but I don’t think it has been updated in a while

Best cooking app

Recipes are great with lots of options and suggestions. Teaches how to cook and not just follow a recipe. This app (like the actual book) is helpful for beginners and experts alike. Recipes can be printed or emailed.

No E-Mail Spark App iPad

The title states the first problem I uncovered. No email is sent. I’d appreciate a fully implemented “share sheet” that is standard in iOS. Print recipe did work. I enjoyed the recipies in 2010 How To Cook Everything - Essentials this version look similar.

Abandonware!

Now, we're ready for more updates, after three years of ignoring your customers! To developer: And no, fixing the shell while providing no new content isn't "update". It's "squeeze more money out without giving anything in return". Also, your response is facetious, unless you've somehow squeezed in all of the recipes of the world.

An Excellent Daily Cookbook

EthanEdwards

This cookbook strikes an excellent balance between simplicity and discovery. Countless times it has provided easy recipes to do with what is on hand. When called upon to provide something that will impress a more discriminating taste, it delivers. A good investment.
