Used to be great, but the developer seems to have abandoned this app because it no longer works at all :(

I do love this app that I don’t care what’s wrong with its features. The contents are just wow. But please, update it for iPhone XSmax so I can enjoy the experience some more. Thank you for this app

Fantastic!

I’ve been using this app since I had it on the iTouch. It’s a great reference and a reliable source of solid recipes.

For the non-cookbook cook
tanguerapdx

I rarely prepare prescribed recipes, so Mark Bittman's mix-and-match approach is perfect. If I've just bought the perfect piece of halibut, he'll give me ideas on how to do justice to it using what I have. It's really the perfect kitchen utility.

Good basic app.

Good basic app that has regular recipes with modifications. The steps and backgrounds for the recipes are good. I paid nothing and am quite happy with it!

Best Cookbook Ever?

I owned the cookbook before I got this app, so I know what an awesome resource this is. Continuous updates just make the app better. Not always my first choice for a recipe, but it’s never failed me when I needed one.

Laughable outdated!

It’s been over a year since the last update and it looks just dreadful on modern Apple devices. Many bugs persist. The content is fantastic, but what a sad example of abandonware as the app gets uglier and uglier and more and more broken with each hardware and iOS update.
