Loved the App but has had A LOT of issues recently.

So I used to really love this app however during my two month long trip to South Korea I had A LOT of trouble getting my bookings both current and past to load. This forced me to rely on email confirmations when trying to check in with the Hostel. Additionally since the bookings weren’t loading it was also difficult to quickly reference the address and contact information for each of the hostels. To be honest I’ve started using Agoda since they have all of the hostels listed in Hostelworld (sometimes at cheaper rates) and, at least in South Korea, more recent reviews.
Decent service with minimal up-front charges

Booking through Hostelworld always works well and is super dependable. My only complaint would be limited selection of properties, and none in many cities (e.g. Atlanta, Birmingham, Nashville...) But it’s a good service and often allows you to book a fully refundable stay :)

Title says it all. It’s honestly probably the best app I’ve ever used, all things considered. Very functional and easy to use with every feature I could ever want. I ALWAYS use this app while traveling.

i’ve been using hostelworld to book most of my trips since 2015, it’s amazing. the app is pretty intuitive and lists both hostels and sometimes boutique hotels or even motels so there’s a lot to choose from depending on ur set price/length of stay. whether ur looking to book a tradition dorm style hostel or a private room, hostelworld is a great option

Generally love the app, but the current version is crashing on each city search. Developers might want to address this if it’s a widespread issue as it is core functionality and I am unable to use it. Having to look elsewhere for an upcoming trip
