While there are many options, it’s still highly limited. 90% of the books I am actually looking for are not available with this service, which focuses more on visual media. For the best digital library experience, use LIBBY.

This is a great way to see movies, once you learn how to use the system, pick your movies early in the day due to the quota that gets used up quickly, I enjoy this set up not using cable TV due to bad programming that is offered. Thanks for having it in Pinal Co, AZ

Love to read books but it’s so costly to buy all the books I want. Now I find the same book with a few taps on my laptop/smartphone, or table, I can read, read, read without the $$$. Libraries are such a blessing and with Hoopla, I don’t have to go to brick and mortar locations to get a book.

My biggest problem is the inability to turn pages and it’s frustrating to get to an exciting place in the story and be unable to turn to the next page. Grrrr. My favorite part is watching the extremely creative use of the cards between sessions. Especially the dancing man. Pure genius! Janice

D. A. Young’s siblings are a force to be reckoned with. The love, lust and faithfulness is what keeps you wanting more. I’ll never get enough of my Whiskey Row men or my Carrollton siblings. This is my new favorite author! I’ll Keep reading as long as you keep writing!

I Watch Too Much TV
I am very happy to have found hoopla! I listen to a lot audio books and I like being able to check out audio books from the library for free (YAY!!) This app works well but there are some narrators readers who need to be slowed down (or sped up) just a hair and the available speed change utility slows it way too much. Instead of going from 100% to 75% it would be great to go to 95% or 98% because 75% is way to slow and distorts the voices. Also, if I want to move to a different part of the book and I haven’t set a bookmark and I am going to a place where tapping the 15 second arrow is cumbersome (and I am aware it makes bigger jumps the more you tap it), I at times try to slide to dot to the correct place. Sometimes it is super easy but other times it slides the entire page. I wish every audio books was broken down into chapters but not all of them are so being able to more easily move the slide would be great. Thank you for listening!!
