I love everything about this app. The only things I would add are a dark theme and Chromecast support.

iOS is a stable platform and I face several app issues now(I used hoopla in Android before with tons of similar issues) 1. App keeps pulling in my cellular data in the background even for downloaded books 2. If you are connected over wifi and network changes to cellular, playback hangs (stepping out of work/home) 3. If you are connected over cellular and network goes off and comes back, playback hangs(going to underground parking and driving up) 4. Number of free books from our library is reduced to 3 from 5 (sort of payment issue I believe) Eitherway first three items are making me getting frustrated because I use hoopla while driving and its now very unstable Edit: Moving to 1 star. Do you know why? Your last played location is reset to some previous location if you use pause audio in no network area(underground parking garage), come to network(wifi etc) and then try to play. Highly annoying!!
Loved before the update

I loved Hoopla before the update but now it doesn’t remember where we left off in the audiobook. I use it to borrow books from our library to listen with my 5 year old and it’s very frustrating that it doesn’t remember our place. She’ll borrow my phone to sit and listen and if I don’t catch it fast enough to screenshot to remember her spot we have to start over and try and figure it out. Wish I could get the old version back.

I would give it a 5 star rating, however because you can only borrow six items per month; I can only give it 3 stars. I haven’t received any explanation of why you’re only allowed to borrow six items.

I love Hoopla. I can borrow audio books, ebooks & movies & they all work well on my IPad. This is my favorite way to enjoy audiobooks & movies. The best part is that it is 100% free.
Always at limit and can’t borrow

Every time I try to borrow a title, I get a message that the library limit has been reached. I haven’t been able to borrow anything for weeks.

Why can you only check out four things per month? There should be at least four apiece for each thing to download.
Screen Rotation is a MUST

I have used this app for years and have always loved it. But with recent updates, the screen will no longer rotate when I’m reading. Maybe that isn't a huge deal to everyone, but it's a deal-breaker for me. I haven't used this app since that changed. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!!
