Drains my battery

I love Hoopla and always having a book to read; however, my battery drops 10% in 3 minutes only when I’m using the app. It didn’t use to drain my battery so I’m really hoping it is an issue that can be fixed.

I love reading! But with two young kids it’s hard to find time. So having an easy way to listen to books is great! I use hoopla audio books while driving, working, walking, etc and it’s great

April 7 & 11th Reply to developers: I’ve emailed that very support email several times. I’ve emailed since the 7th. ***Please read this.*** I’ve emailed the very email you list!*** I’ve been told you are aware of the issues and a fix is on the way. Hasn’t been fixed, the app is unusable for reading. I would suggest putting the old version back until the issues are fixed. I have to say this seems a long time to not fix the type size, at least, not to mention landscape mode. This is my review until the two issues are fixed. I’ll up it some if you fix the type. I’ll up it more once landscape mode is fixed. I’ve been assured. All assuming it is usable again. The app no longer works in landscape mode, but *much* worse is the very limited font size. The largest typeface is *tiny* on my iPad Pro 10.5. This was a useful resource in addition to my library, now it is virtually unusable. Only 1 star. Update: new version put out, the fonts still are only one size.

This app would be good but it doesn't let me press the download button (which is the reason why I got it anyway) and it takes several presses to play a video
Borrowing an episode doesn't make sense

This is awesome. I'm even cool with there not being new books on here. My only issue is borrowing seasons/episodes. You have to borrow the episodes one by one instead of the whole 'season' so it takes forever to get through one season. Just trying to do one of the Great Courses and I have to pick and choose which ones I think are be most important since there are more than 6. Other than that, I really like this app.
