Great app for tracking!

I love the lifetime license on this app. I get so sick of people trying to milk you forever off an app. It is nice to be able to buy software like we used to. The one complaint I have is that I can’t figure out how to delete individual sets. I accidentally added an extra set and couldn’t get rid of it. I just had to list it as 0 lbs. and 0 reps.

Basic Apple Watch support

Pat954-0

My favorite gym log app. Very polished and extremely well thought out. Apple Watch support is very minimal unfortunately. It only lets you input weight and reps of current workout that’s running on your phone. A slew of workout apps on the App Store allow you to save the entire workout to the Apple Watch, so you could feasibly leave your phone home. Please add this functionality. I like how you can quickly add exercises to routines, I wouldn’t mind keeping my phone with me to add exercises to a pre-establised routines, but having to use the phone for preset routines, we’re past that. That seems to be the only area in my experience this app is lacking. Update: like I said used to be one of my favorite log apps. I’ve since loved on. I’m sure it may be great for many people. If you add that functionality I will try it again in the future. Update 2: Thank you for your response, your view makes sense. One question, is there a way to switch exercises from the Apple Watch? At least to move up or down to the next exercise in the routine? Without resorting to picking up the phone to switch exercises? Tried that and it works ?? not ideal but it works. Updated rating. Looking forward to updates!

Difficult to make workout changes

Bobm480

The app does not allow changes to be made to a workout. When you edit a workout to add exercises the new exercises disappear next time the app opens. Extremely frustrating. Version 2 was a way better app - simple and easy

One Of The Best...

KaseyT1

...Workout log programs I have found. Well designed and functional layout that makes it easy to use while working out. I like it so much that I purchased the lifetime license at a very reasonable $10! There are a few places that I’d like to see changes....like the function to swipe to tag a set as Warmup, Failure or Delete.... I think Drop Set should be added. A few typos need fixing but these are small in comparison to the overall usability of the program.....and again, I was willing to pay for it in a sea of free apps ( most of which are horrible). Buy it and get going! BTW, I had a question for the developer and he responded immediately TWICE!!!

Features removed

Pretty good app. Very flexible with regards to adding exercises and sets/reps. So I bought a 1 month license unlocked some good additional features, but when it expired a couple of features that were there before about the license were locked out!! What da!?! I can no longer see stats such as my overall workout time,...! So I’ve started another comparable app that offers a lot of the same features plus it allows me to see a total work out times and a few other stats- it’s called Strong.

Impressive Workout Tracker with Killer Features

michaelsandmichaels

I purchased a lifetime license for ironGAINS after testing about 15 workout trackers. I recently started a new training program (Steve Shaw's Massive Iron), which requires knowing your last workout's weights & reps. ironGAINS shows that information right beside each set of your current workout (exactly what I was looking for). I also like that you can indicate which sets are warm-up or failure sets. But the feature that really stands out for me is the brilliant "rep schemes." This makes setting up workouts a breeze and allows you to change the reps & sets of an exercise with the click of a button. ironGAINS comes with predefined rep schemes, or you can define your own schemes as well. ironGAINS is the only app I know of to have this feature. Kudos to the developer! And speaking of the developer, Arnas is quick to respond to questions and open to suggestions. His passion for making ironGAINS the best it can be clearly shows. Thank you, Arnas, for make such a great workout tracker!

Man you lost it all

Sergey Saks

It was beautiful app 4 years ago. Then someone gifted left the project and the app became getting worse and worse. No affiance. Man, you have to step back and regroup! You can do it! Think what you are missing here. Think about steps you need to take to fulfill it. Design is the key.. Update: Like I said you put too much effort into functionality of the app which is great. But remember its first versions with beautiful design? It feels like this is an dry Android app. Make it nice looking. Hire an iOS designer ?‍?

Best weight lifting tracker!

Love everything about this app. Developer is very responsive and seems like a great guy. Pro version is nice and worth it.

Great app.

App is easy to use and works great. Only with the end of exercise notification could be made louder.

Awesome App

This app is all around fantastic. I really don’t have any suggestions for improvement or see any shortcomings.
