This app, ever since I downloaded it, has had some issues, but I could find ways around the issues and it was fine. However, with the new update, there have been added issues that are too hard to work with. First issue- it will not let me put a door on an interior room! It is very frustrating and I’ve tried everything to make it work. Second issue- it no longer shows measurements for when I’m putting in windows or doors. I have no clue how much space is in between the windows so I I just have to eyeball it. Third issue- the new roofing is not the most user friendly Fourth issue- if I’m adding land to create a porch, it won’t let me put windows on the walls around it Fifth issue- several of the things on my pre-update homes have now been put askew and it won’t let me fix them Please solve these issues because I love this app, but it’s so frustrating to use now!

Loved this app, had it for years and always been fun. The new update, i love the new items but every time I add an item- it goes to the upper level.

I’ve always love this app and would have rated it five stars normally. However, with the latest update that added roofs, anytime I add furniture to my plan it adds up to the attic/roof area. I’ll place the furniture within the plan and then it disappears… Only for me to find it on the top floor.

Major bugs please fix

Please fix the most recent bugs. I use the for work and it’s not working correctly since the roof update. Was such a good app before. Now there are bugs all over the place. Please fix ASAP!!

Roof option doesn’t work

I just paid $8.99 to get the hip roof option and it will not let me adjust the altitude or place it on the home

So it was either this or paying $75 a year for a similar app that probably didn’t have any bugs. I felt that this gave me the best value though because it has a decent quantity of household items and textures that allow you to edit an item to your liking. You can even edit the size of an item so your design and copy your own furniture if you like. The bugs I noticed happened when in 3 D mode. If I tried to move a wall around when there were doors or Windows involved in the wall then it would crash and any time I tried to click on the window or door that was left behind by the moved wall it would crash again so I just didn’t touch them and I can see them in 2D but not in 3D so no biggie. Just had to figure out how to 1) prevent the crash from happening in the first place or 2) work around the bug. Over all though i really enjoyed making my dream home and hope in the next five years to make it a reality. I think it was worth the $12 since it’s a one time fee. I would love to see that bug fixed and more textures (especially stone), outdoor features (curved drive way, chicken coop, recliner, drinking fountain.. etc. also I’d love to be able to duplicate parts and copy paste to a new map. Or in 2 d be able to have an electrical and then a plumbing map. Also I’m not sure if it takes into account support walls. But that would be nice to know. I feel like even SIMS3 did this and wouldn’t allow you to build second story flooring without enough support beams/walls. Also there aren’t simple shelving or closet hooks or bars for clothes and that would be helpful for designing closet spaces. They did have an exercise bar so I guess you could kind of resize that to make a mock closet bar. I’ll have to play around with that. Also more sinks choices would be great.

(I am currently writing this review with version 4.5, they’ve since fixed the update.) I love this game. It’s entertaining, and for an aspiring interior designer, I can spend hours on this game. Unfortunately, with the new roofing update (4.5) came bugs. I would appreciate it if these bugs could be fixed, because I love this game and really like playing it. (Bug 1:) The biggest bug is the furniture bug. I try to grab furniture and put it in the room I am decorating, but as soon as I release it, it disappears. This is kind of a big part of the game, considering furniture makes the house feel like home. (Bug 2:) The measurement bug. Whenever I try to put down a window, I have no measurements, meaning I can’t see how far away the edge of the window is from the nearest wall or window. This bugs me personally, because I know it isn’t exact. (Bug 3:) Elevation bug. This occurred with windows and some objects, such as paintings, pictures, etc. I can no longer raise or lower anything. This one isn’t super big, but it’s still a bit annoying. (This isn’t a bug, rather my opinion.) I don’t like that I now have to pay to get all the roofs. I bought the app for $10.00, expecting the full version. But low and behold, it now wants me to pay another $10.00 to have access to all the roofs, as well as unlimited floors. It’s frustrating, but I understand that companies have to make money. In my opinion though, $10.00 is quite a bit to ask after the customer has paid for the app. Overall, however, it’s a fun game to play, and I would recommend it. I have purchased Unlimited Floors and roofs for $19. It didn't work well - I couldn't change the colors of furniture and I couldn't see the instruction videos. So I thought the gold version that is sold separately for $8 will be different. Well I bought it and it works in the same app but didn’t fix any of my issues!

Ok so I love this app from a design standpoint. It’s intuitive for playing around and building structures. HOWEVER, I bought gold a couple of years to get unlimited floors and it was perfect and worked — But now it’s 2021 and they’re demanding I get GOLD PLUS TO HAVE THE SAME FEATURES I ALREADY BOUGHT. If the developer is so pressed for cash then target the new market not people who already bought the app. So they added some new furniture and design objects? I didn’t upgrade the original because of those. I paid for the unlimited floors which defeats the point of paying more in the first place. Not to mention them updating design objects is a choice to give free to existing owners, not to take away content that’s been paid for. Modern day robbery.
