False Advertising

Found app through a deceptive advertisement. After installing the application it required a fee before proceeding. However it offered a 3 day free trail. When I purchased, it turns out there was never a free trail. It charged the $30 annual fee instantly. False advertising and extremely deceptive practices. You’d think Apple would be shutting down these types of scams. The app doesn’t even do the advertised solutions.

Don’t even bother unless you wanna fork out $30 for a “free trial”.

Got charged $30 after it said I would get a free 3 day trial. It mentioned that if I cancelled anytime before the 3 day trial period ended, I would get my money back. As soon as I selected the 3 day trial, I got charged. Pretty ridiculous. Added to that, the app totally did not provide the content described. Nothing like what it advertised. I basically was on the app for less than 20 minutes, then deleted it and unsubscribed. I then noticed it charged my card for $30. I am completely upset and frustrated with this and the way the company handled the whole process. Seems I got scammed. So much for a free trial!

Trial....

Yeah I stopped at the trial wanting me to get into 29.99 a year and cancel prior the charge. Just let us try a limited version and have option to upgrade. I’m not even gonna bother trying this because I don’t want any mishaps happening and can’t cancel. Also you need to cancel one day prior the charge. No thanks not bothering.

DONT TRUST APP - False Advertising!
Zari Baez

Holocam falsely advertised their app on snapchat as if they have 3D Live Wallpapers. I downloaded the app and I couldn’t access the app without their “3 Day Free Trial”. After the trial, you’re automatically charged 29.99 for their “yearly subscription.” I downloaded the app this morning, did the trial, accessed the app only to find out it does NOTHING CLOSE to what they advertised. I immediately canceled the subscription and deleted the app the same day and they still charged me $29.99. DONT TRUST THIS APP and their “trial.” They’ll charge you anyway and you’ll end up having to call Apple for a refund.

Have no choice but to rate 1 Star

Sadly, I was told that I would get a three day free trial when I opened this app. I originally saw a commercial that made it seem like you could have a moving background with music on Snapchat. I decided to try the trial. It automatically charged me $29.99 for one year. I did not to get to use the free trial. I did not authorize this payment and would like my money back now!!

The app says it offers a 3 day trial to start, but instead takes $29.99 from your bank account immediately. The language chosen is purposefully misleading in order to give it a chance. This is worthy of a lawsuit if I can’t get my money back.
