The past few weeks the app crashes every time I check my stats or even try to play a round!! I paid the $50 to get the extra stats and cant check anything cause it keeps crashing. I even had to write this review through the App Store cause the app kept crashing!! Looking for a new app!!!!! The people making this app obviously don’t care about the customer!!

This is my favorite golf app. Easy to use, watch interface is exactly how it should be, even for the free version. I’m sure the Premium version is just as great. You need to get this for your round. Full disclosure: Changed my rating back to a 5 - must have been a bug that caused my prior issue. Developer responded and helped clarify. Thank you!

Overall this is one of the easiest Golf GPS app that supports Apple Watch that I have tried. My only issues are that sometimes when opening, the app just stays in the loading screen. The only way of fixing this is to reboot my phone (annoying). The second is when the phone and watch get out of sync. It’s as if the watch stops communicating to the phone. It keeps on showing yardage even when you have finished the round on the phone. You can’t stop this on the watch, the only way I have found is to reboot my watch. If these were fixed it would get 5 stars

I had to choose between a dedicated golf watch and the Apple Watch with an app. This app is slightly better than others because it lets you try the watch function without paying a fee. However, I found several annoyances: 1. App doesn’t automatically advance to next hole. I have to remove my glove to swipe the watch face to advance. 2. The par value on all the holes shows as a par 3 no matter what the correct value is 3. If you leave your phone in the cart and walk out of range, the gps stops working. What’s the use of having gps in the watch if it’s not used by the app. I’m going to buy a Garmin watch.

Ever since the Apple watch came out, I have been searching for a usable golf app that was fast and accurate enough to use on the golf course. Hole 19 has now fulfilled that search. Although previous versions did not perform that well, the current version is VERY good. Loads and updates distances as fast, or faster than other golf apps on my iPhone 6; is very accurate. It is a very easy to use watch golf app. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars, yet, is it doesn’t automatically advance to the new hole, so I have to remember to do that. I believe that functionality is coming. If you are looking for a quick, accurate distance golf app for the Apple watch, this app is for you. Battery drain is minimal on both the phone and the watch, typically using between 10-15 percent for 18 holes. Update: better than ever. Full functionality now. Many features I don’t always use, but there if I need them. Watch updates immediately on yardage’s.
easy to make a fake app
Does not track your yardage at can’t telll you even the average length of your driver

As good as it gets for a free app. Nice interface. Apple Watch integration is the best feature.

I have previously rated this app very highly. When the app got further acceptance they decided on a subscription model. While I understand the desire for profit, it seems that the resolution of the course graphics was purposefully degraded to stimulate revenue. I have used the app since it’s inception, and I would’ve paid for the higher resolution one time, but never for an annual recurring charge. I am now in the search for a replacement app or perhaps another alternative to what I once thought was a very good solution.
