This is a very rare hard core strategy game in the present days, and to see this more clearly, please notice that quite a few disappointed comments complain about the difficulty. Congrats devs, you’ve succeeded when some users beg you to force them think harder. A higher level of difficulty like “grand master” is desired, where AIs are allowed to employ advanced/unique units. Also, the origin of a tribe may not be dominated by sources that they haven’t learned to gather. Along with above is a little concern for the balance, although you have done quite well. The tribe of Hahn is weak in two aspects. Since mines are on hills, their territory is usually the hilliest. With a higher cost of pavement, their development is often tougher than others. In addition, spearmen and swordsmen are weak under comparison with calvary. To solve this I would suggest to make them immune to zone of control (ZOC), so than they have some usefulness. Finally, the option “+2 population” for level 2 to 3 upgrade is almost ignorable, which reflects the lack of importance of population. We may rebalance by weighting the # of people (1 knight=3 persons, 1 horseman =2, etc.), or counting dead units to enhance the rarity of population, or replacing the option by “reducing research cost” (not counting this city when researching) or some other option. Keep on hardworking, and it will pay off. Best wishes for you guys in the tough days!

I know I’m not the first to say it but this is just a messier version of battle for polytopia. More does not mean better, especially in this case.

But I hope the devs would add a Greek tribe because there is a Roman tribe I just think they would look really cool.

I love the game so far however I do wish there was more to do in the game. Maybe add a team battle. Doesn’t have to be online. It can be offline and it would give the game a whole different approach especially when your playing with an AI as your ally.

I’m not a fan of leaving reviews on games because usually they over hype the game or they make the game seem worse than it is. This will be my honest review of the game. I have had this game since it’s early release and played it a lot when it was released. The mechanic of being able to leave the game and then come back to it later helped a lot during break time at work. This game has a lot of plus’ to it, multiple factions, some units counter others, randomly generated maps, and good balancing to the units. The developers have also done a lot of good things to the game since it has come out, like adding new troops to each faction. The basics of this game is to control city’s and build some infrastructure to gain more gold per turn for that city. With the gold you can research more things to unlock the other troops for your faction. The ultimate objective being, you control the entire board for world domination. The hard part is the other factions constantly trying to take over your lands while you’re trying to research the right things to stay one step ahead. It’s an overall really good Turn based strategy game and I recommend it to anyone who likes to think a little when it comes to mobile gaming. My downside with this game is that the new factions have to be purchased with gems. It takes awhile to build up gems, on top of that the coolest faction (in my own belief ) costs like 100000 while most cost 2500. Luckily I’m really good with Ragnar and enjoy playing that faction. My only suggestion is Multiplayer. It will make the game a lot more fun because no one makes mistakes like a human. I understand it would be hard to maintain servers and costs money and what have yah. But besides that, the game is great and deserves every star possible. - Big Fan
GAME IS BROCKEN

So I download the game thinking it is going to be a cool game. But as I first open the app it says that it is trying to connect to Game Center. And it makes me become a guest because it can’t connect! And I am cool with it because it doesn’t really matter. So after all of that it tells me to restart my game because my Game Center account has been changed? I restart the game and the same thing happens all again. I did this about 5 times before resetting my phone to see if that works and again it keeps making me a guest and bot letting me play! PLZ FIX THIS
Please let the AI use all of these cool units, devs!

Hey Devs, It's a neat game but what fun are all of these special new faction units if your AI opponents can't use them? It almost feels like playing Civ but your AI opponents can't progress their tech past the Medieval ages.

I started playing this game so much to unlock all the tribes but when I go on rookie mode with two other tribes it is the hardest game in my life and I barely got past doing that with the first tribe trying to unlock the Hann tribe and now I have the Hann tribe and I got trough the trainee with one tribe and with two tribes then I got trough rookie mode with one tribe but when I try rookie mode with two tribes I have failed ten times and that’s frustrating and I know it is supposed to be difficult but some things weren’t fare.like I had a guard guy and the other tribe did two and I attacked the guard with my guard and I did 1 point of damage and the other guard hit me back too and he killed my guard with one hit.??? like really!!! My tenth try I actually defeated one tribe in that play and I had lots of kingdoms and guys and even had two tigers and they had tree kingdoms and barley any men and somehow they still are overpowering me the AI on them is way too OP and that is rookie mode like come on!!! Please make them a little less easy to take over and not so OP. Thank you
