Great game with serious balance issues

I like the game a lot, enough that I’ve bought a couple tribes. However, I found an infallible strategy, which kind of dulls it down a lot. Pick the Ragnarr, fully develop 3 cities, then spam cavalry until your entire continent is yours. Afterward, spam navy ships, and then you can steamroll the other islands. I have yet to lose trying this, as the Ragnarr get to upgrade their troops faster, and can develop cities quickly by starting with multiple foods researched. If the devs do some balancing, I will switch to 5 star.

Small maps? Only three civs per match? Steep paywall?

This game has a lot of potential... but they seem to be limiting themselves. Polytopia might not be as pretty, but the matches are much more enjoyable due to scale.

This is easily the best trategy game on ios. To people saying it lacks depth I say that it’s balanced simplicity is a feature, not a bug. The only thing I would change is the addition of a map builder, the ability to select map size independent of opponent count, same device multiplayer, bluetooth/wifi, and internet multiplayer. Update: I dropped a star because of the completely unnecessary requirement to be online to be able to select the purchaced tribes!

Lovely game, graphics and animation looks great, then the gameplay was better than I expected, it's a bit unusual - like costs go up as you get more cities with initially was strange but I quickly got the idea - it might make me think more about researching before capturing more city's. I real the other reviews and they are complaining about wanting more FREE stuff, it's sad that they don't realize if it's all free the developer gets nothing! If you even like the game a bit it's worth 1.99 I liked the free stuff it was more than enough to know this is a game I want, so I have bought some teams. Ideas: larger maps and more variety would be nice for longer games, but I enjoy the smaller games for short trips and between work breaks.

The game is awesome I never put reviews up. So this is one of the best strategy games I played but it needs more work instead of working on tribes and stuff work on modes like online pass play even a mode we’re there a lot of players on teams fighting in a huge map

Good, but... ADD MULTIPLAYER

I have never written a review for a game before, so that should tell you how rad this game is, I am writing the review because this game is AWESOME. It would be 100% amazing with the ability to play against friends. And not just 1v1, but a full roster of up to 4 friends. This game is very fun, but it could be even better. (I will change this to a 5 star review when multiplayer is added)
