Bugs...

There are many bugs throughout the game. Idk if they will ever be fixed so I can’t recommend to everyone. 1. Can’t see enemy hero’s stats in battle. 2. Can’t see artifact stats in inventory. 3. Game crashes after winning treasuries. It happens every time even after reload, so it is not a random bug.

Short and sweet, it’s still heroes lll, however for whatever reason Ubisoft decided to strip out all expansion packs, which included the ability to create custom maps and thus removed very nearly all of the replay value...but hey, it’s heroes lll on your tablet!...I guess.

But I HATE the touch controls. 80% of the time you try to shoot at a unit, you get an info panel. Often when you want to melee attack, you just walk up next to the enemy instead. You can’t drag and drop items, and God help you if you want item info. I get that this game was designed for a 2-button mouse, but just a little effort to make a better touch screen interface would go a long way. Also crashes. Don’t pretend like this game doesn’t make enough money to pay a few engineers to do an update.

However, it crashes all the time. Attack a ballista? Crash. Search a catacomb? Crash. This game is fun, when it works. This series has always been challenging and the iPad is awesome to play it on, which is why I gave more than one star. But it crashes, a lot. Way too often. Please fix.

Amazing game as always! So excited it came out on iPad. However, I do have 2 concerns. Every time I attack the dwarven treasury it crashes. So, I can’t attack those anymore. Also, there is no way to see the stats of an object to see what it does.

So glad they brought this to iPad. While it crashes occasionally I have put many hours into it, and completed all the campaigns. Tons of fun. Thank you!!!!!!

If you played HOMM3 back in the day, you need to check this version out. I’ve never seen such amazing adaptation pc to iPad. The game works exactly (if not better) like it works on the PC. Can you please, please release the expansion packs?

Just finished the entire single player campaign and I can say this is the best PC to iPad game I have ever played! Worth every penny if you are familiar with the series. I also tried a game on the harder difficulty and hot slaughtered, so the computer is no slouch. There is a bug with the treasury building, but other than that you won't even know you are on Apple device.
