I have been using Hero Lab for several years. This app makes running my character very easy. It also easily allows me to play with different combinations to get the right feel. I will say that it is on the high side. I have spent a good chunk of money purchasing expansions. If you play pathfinder, get Hero Lab and this app.

getting so bloated. slow loading on even new ipad with lotsa memory. crashes half of the time. more and more unusable :-(

I try to open the demo on my iPad but after a couple of minutes it takes me back to the main screen. Hope this can get addressed so I can get the full 5ed D&D version.
Great app, last update broke it

Been using this for over a year, it's great, fully functional, and has everything you want from a character builder. Unfortunately, the last update broke the app, and it crashes after opening a portfolio. Lone Wolf, fix this and this is a 5 star app. But right now, it's non functional.

I was having similar crash sues as other reviewers with the Jan 29th update. It resolved itself when I updated my IPad with the newest apple software update. I love using hero lab at the table. It's quick and convenient, makes creating characters a breeze, and it's great when one of the other players is going to miss a session at the last minute, they can email over their portfolio or email somebody else their character's stat block so the group can run them in their absence. In my pinion it is highly useful and highly recommended.
