Great for Husbands

My husband and I have been ordering for about a month now. We really enjoy it! My husband has been cooking the meals 3 times a week. It’s nice to have him cook for a change and have new meals that I don’t make. The only downside is there is no where on the app to state I’m allergic to pork so I have to be sure I change my meals that they choose for us. It’s easy, but I have to be sure to change it before it’s shipped. I wish there was a way to put allergies in my profile or something.

If you’ve ever found yourself on HelloFresh’s IG comments, I bet you were just as skeptical as I was. HOWEVER - I cannot express how much I love this service!! The one time my box was missing, they reimbursed me the same day and I now have a personal delivery person to make sure it doesn’t happen again! The food is always fresh and I’ve never had a meal I didn’t enjoy. 5 stars for your freshness, flavor, customer support, environmentally conscious packaging, and overall GOODNESS ❤️

Delicious food but.. Purposely unhelpful UI, cancellation issues

I’ve used Hello Fresh for several months now. Several times I have received boxes that are missing ingredients or they ping as delivered even though it wasn’t delivered. Every time that occurred, I have to get in contact with them and they say “Oh it was damaged” :) They are not proactive in saying— “Your package was damaged, so it can’t be delivered we’re sorry for this inconvenience. We’ll credit your account.” Is that so complicated? Now I want to cancel and they don’t allow you to cancel from the app. The UI is just built to be unhelpful in cancellation in general. Their website freezes up and doesn’t want to load the cancellation page. It’s overall really annoying. Other than that, the food is delicious, the recipe cards are designed well.

Im the type to buy the same thing to cook over and over; this app has given me a chance to try new recipes without having to go searching for random ingredients...which is great when i find an awesome random ingredient, i get to add it to my kitchen. Ive used this as a chance to stay out of grocery stores while still being a foodie. Food is always delivered fresh, and for the most part, on time.

Great way to pick your menu

Nice! Plan your deliveries, explore recipes, and step by step instructions when you are ready to cook. The only trouble I’ve had is using the built-in timer while preparing recipes. Once it didn’t actually start the timer, and once it erased a timer when I started a second one in the recipe.

I tried several different meal programs and Hello Fresh was the best one. The App makes it deasy to pick my menus for the following weeks. I can also pull up the receipts while at the grocery store when I want to duplicate it.

Glitch in the payment/order

Clearly there is a glitch on this app when you contact Hello Fresh directly by phone to pay for your order, and on the app it still shows you haven’t paid the meals yet.

I have used Hello Fresh from their very start and it is such a great tool for a working Mom like myself. The food is so delicious and fresh and my children enjoy eating a variety of meals every week. My family’s pallet has expanded and it an awesome feeling to feed my family wonderful food.
