For those apartments fortunate enough to have Hello Alfred, their free service is great and paid ones very reasonably priced.
Started out great, gets worse every week

Initially it was great counters were immaculate bed was made perfectly and everything was hunky-dory. Fast forward five weeks, counters are not being cleaned and bed was made. I didn’t leave anything in the dishwasher and even took out the trash so there was less for them to do but it seems the less I leave for them to do the less they actually do anyway

This is such a great service to have. They do a really good job with the general tidying up, and any additional cleanup is inexpensive. Our Alfred, Sammy, has always provided amazing service!

Just do the basics right

I only use Alfred for dry cleaning and it’s just not connivent. Pick up only once a week and drop off once a week so you don’t have continuous service like many full service buildings where you can drop off dry cleaning daily with pick up in 2-3 days. It’s really annoying my Related apartment uses Alfred instead of normal drop off/pick up at front desk. It accomplishes the opposite of luxury service and won’t last. That’s why so few people use the service. Horrible schedule.

It’s always nice to come after an Alfred visit. Karen and Leo are always welcome. Their attention to detail is spoiling me.
