The app crashes constantly, I can't make it through a full battle now after updating my IOS, and before the update it crashed a good deal as well. All my troubleshooting efforts have failed. Otherwise the game was quite enjoyable, I would recommend it.

This is one of those rare games where the experience of playing it is more fun than the game itself. Designed by another team, it would not have nearly the character and memorability that it has. As is, it made me grin foolishly before I even began playing. Definitely worth looking at, and remembering next to other timeless classics.

I've been missing tabletop games like D&D or Munchkin and this is scratching that itch. Love the artwork and the humor. Really does feel like a different type of Munchkin.

Could have done better on the difficulty settings.... lambs to slaughter = normal mode

The gameplay mechanic is unique to an iOS RPG, at least in my experience. The soundtrack is worth the price alone. It's hard to believe this didn't start out as a board game. The writing is clever, a creative endeavor, that never ceases to delight. And now I return to the fight! (you cannot go wrong getting this game)

Maybe I am missing something or just totally stupid but I am only on the second round of quests and find all of them impossible to win.

My only disappointment is that there are no cards that will upgrade the characters' starting cards.

Totally worth the small entrance fee. This has provided hours of amusement and at least a few genuine chuckles. Gameplay is a combination of turn-based "card" duals, in which some characters offer the chance for more tactical play, and "building" dungeons by connecting hallways and rooms. You can earn more gold with every hallway; gold gets you new character classes, better loot drops, and little trinkets to help your dungeoneers stay alive. The amusing character commentary, ridiculous gear, and other tongue-in-cheek writing adds to the fun. In sum, worth the small sum to play.

You are the DM, placing rooms and adding critters and loot for the character to go through. They choose where to go in the dungeon (but by placing loot you can influence their decision). When they encounter critters, you do the fighting with a clever card game where you have to balance physical and magical attacks and defenses with the health remaining. Characters come and go but your guild will go on -- making the strongest characters it can! Well worth the money -- and getting FREE expansions added to the base game is a great bonus!
