G allows you to quickly experiment the effects of the Universal Gravitation by adding bodies into a simulation, seeing how they react to each other in real time, all in a true multitouch environment. G offers a vast universe to add your bodies into, potentially allowing you to create stable planetary systems, binary star systems, and other multiple-body complex systems.

G is very simple to use. When you first start it, you are presented with the solar system. The Sun and all planets from Mercury to Uranus are added to the simulation, including the Earth's Moon.

First, get familiar with how to navigate G's Universe.

- Drag on empty space to pan around the universe
- Pinch (two fingers) to zoom in and out the Universe.
- Tap on a body to select it, making the camera follow it.

You can then start interacting with the system, by adding new bodies, modifying or deleting the existing ones.

- Double-tap on empty space to create a body.
- Drag after double- tap to set the new body's initial velocity.
- Drag an existing body to relocate it.
- Double-tap on an existing body to set a new velocity.

The placement, the mass and the initial velocity of the newly added bodies will dictate how "successful" your system will be. Bodies in G will collide when in contact, so if one of your bodies hits another one, they will merge into a single body, creating debris in the process.

Want to see what would happen if our Sun suddenly disappeared? Just delete it from the simulation, and watch all the Solar System planets react to the change... What would happen if the sun decreased it's mass? Go ahead and try it, it's not pretty.

G provides a settings screen that allows to toggle various visual aids, (universe grid, body trails, etc), as well as the simulation speed.

G allows you to store your systems to get back to them later. Up to 7 systems can be stored simultaneously, and loaded anytime. A screenshot of the system is also stored together with the date it was stored in. G also provides a few presets, including the Solar System, and a few other particular systems. You can also import/export your systems from/to any other app (Dropbox, for example) or email.

The physics implemented in G follow "Newton's Laws of Universal Gravitation", which states that every massive particle in the universe attracts every other massive particle with a force which is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

In case you are curious about Newton's Laws of Universal Gravitation, G provides a quick view of the Wikipedia's definition of such laws.

The best gravity simulation I’ve ever seen
AT0MCHILD

And it’s unavailable? What happened? Is it ever going back up?

Please make this iOS 11 compatible
T}{0R

Please make it compatible for ios 11 it was really fun and now i cant download it

Fun game, but...
TheMe1009

I used to play this game all the time on my old iPhone, and it was pretty fun. I liked to make apocalyptic situations where I made two planets crash into each other, and the result was mass destruction. But, when I upgraded to an iPhone 6S, I was no longer able to play this game. So, a little something I want to ask the developer: Can you please upgrade the game?

Upgrade
Chae7

Please update to work in IOS 11

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING
Criss 1020

Buyer beware! This app is garbage, I have been robbed and conned by the utter b.s this very worthless app is. Stay clear of this app! It is inane and useless for any use or purpose other than giving money away to a deceptive game developer! I am passionate for science, specifically astrophysics. Look, I am so disillusioned and upset by the false promise of this app that I can not even begin to verbalize how upset I truly feel.

Good update
sampson712

New update is pretty useful but it's still real hard to create a good orbit because the predicted path is so small. Maybe make it like 2-3x bigger. Also we still need specific properties for creating entities.

I have recommendations
carmmy

new update is somewhat fine. it needs to have a line for the predicted orbit path, instead of a dotted line. there also needs to be changeable names for every mass just by touching that certain mass. there also should be some options about orbit paths before you make the mass, like so you could make a perfect circle path.

Blackholes and white holes

Needs these features to be added to make it a five star,

Wait for price to come down OR wait for good updates.

This simulation is neat. It really has good grasp on the gravity and how objects effect one another. However, this app feels very, very bare bones for 3 bucks. this is more of a 99 cent app. The pre made solar system works. But try to make your own and your in trouble. Here are the things they need to fix or improve. Give a better way to create planets and their size besides touch and hold. Let us set the planet into motion in other ways. as of right now you must touch and hold to create the size of planet. As it grows you also have to pull back and sling shot it in the direction you want. BUT if you make it too big or too small it will throw other planets off course before you have a chance to edit or fix the mistake. Let us zoom further out. As of right now you can't even see the whole solar system on the grid when you completely zoom out. I've never seen the last planet. Don't even know if Pluto is out there (even thought its not a technical planet. It would be nice to be able to create debris like an astroid field. It would be nice to be able to create moons around planets (in the solar system pre made, a moon is going around earth, but good luck trying to simulate the same thing around Jupiter. Levels and objects would also be nice, but as a simulation not necessary. It would just liven it up more. Like: Create a 10 planet system, 20 planet system, 3 sun 30 planet system. etc. Also showing if the planets themselves are rotating. FINALLY: show the complete trajectory path of the planets and even be able to toggle on and off their past rotations. That way we can see if a planet or some other force has effected its rotation. As of right now there is no way to really see if your effecting anything apart from what is REALLY close to the sun. Its a neat simulation... but i really hope they update it soon... The creators have a lot of talent, and I thank them for making the simulation, I would just like to at least some of those improvments. I could easily see an app like this going for 9 bucks easy if it has the right animations, controls, etc. It needs to have a more kid in a sand box feel vs empty space with few controls. 3 stars.

Horrible

Needs alot of work fix it ,it is realy bad
