Wait for price to come down OR wait for good updates. – Gravity App Review

This simulation is neat. It really has good grasp on the gravity and how objects effect one another. However, this app feels very, very bare bones for 3 bucks. this is more of a 99 cent app. The pre made solar system works. But try to make your own and your in trouble. Here are the things they need to fix or improve. Give a better way to create planets and their size besides touch and hold. Let us set the planet into motion in other ways. as of right now you must touch and hold to create the size of planet. As it grows you also have to pull back and sling shot it in the direction you want. BUT if you make it too big or too small it will throw other planets off course before you have a chance to edit or fix the mistake. Let us zoom further out. As of right now you can't even see the whole solar system on the grid when you completely zoom out. I've never seen the last planet. Don't even know if Pluto is out there (even thought its not a technical planet. It would be nice to be able to create debris like an astroid field. It would be nice to be able to create moons around planets (in the solar system pre made, a moon is going around earth, but good luck trying to simulate the same thing around Jupiter. Levels and objects would also be nice, but as a simulation not necessary. It would just liven it up more. Like: Create a 10 planet system, 20 planet system, 3 sun 30 planet system. etc. Also showing if the planets themselves are rotating. FINALLY: show the complete trajectory path of the planets and even be able to toggle on and off their past rotations. That way we can see if a planet or some other force has effected its rotation. As of right now there is no way to really see if your effecting anything apart from what is REALLY close to the sun. Its a neat simulation... but i really hope they update it soon... The creators have a lot of talent, and I thank them for making the simulation, I would just like to at least some of those improvments. I could easily see an app like this going for 9 bucks easy if it has the right animations, controls, etc. It needs to have a more kid in a sand box feel vs empty space with few controls. 3 stars.
