I use this for on the go design work. It's intuitive and has everything for general chart design. It's not the end all in chart programs but it is extremely nice and easy to use. I love it!

Update 11-7: The previous content of this review stands, but I think what is stated in the developer's response has me looking hopefully for the future. I will update this review as updates come. The core disappointment with this app is the gesture recognition and how it interacts with the Apple Pencil. Circles are pretty easy to reliably draw, but squares and rectangles too often are "recognized" circles or oddly misshaped blobs. Circles and squares will come in as askew ovals. I never once got a diamond to register properly. It does at least connect those shapes reliably, but it's otherwise obnoxiously fiddly. With the Apple Pencil in particular, the palm rejection is sub-par. I would like the ability to only draw with the pencil and limit my finger input to manipulating shapes that exist. The canvas being artificially limited is also annoying. I can draw off the right and bottom edge of the screen and get more space, but not the top or left. There is potential here for an amazing diagraming app. With more reliable gesture recognition, it would be great. If it supported handwritten notes in the recognized shapes, it would be spectacular.

It takes a while to get used to, but once I got over the hump it does what I need it to. I'd like better alignment tools, and a small open circle in the shape library would be tremendously helpful.

Grafio's talented staff of designers and evangelists have created one of the most useful and creative productivity tools for the iPad. As a developer group, they are consistently updating and improving the product with creative flourishes and GUI excellence. From version to version, I see regular growth. This update made designing even easier and added a boatload of new slickly produced, fun, and clever icons. On my wish list: OSX integration. I use omnigraffle more ONLY because Omni has a mac osx app as well. Make it happen and I am a convert.

Great customer service, responded to my feedback within a couple days! I'm pleased to hear that iCloud sync will be included in the next version with iOS 11, hope that's a free upgrade for those who already paid for the app. I'll update to five stars once that happens! ----- I think this is a very solid flowchart app, and the best value for your money that I could find. I am a mind map person and I enjoy MindNode for mapping things quickly, but Grafio is perfect for those situations when I want to customize shapes and locations and create some more complex interconnected mind maps. I would give this five stars if it had iCloud sync functionality, since I'd like to be able to access and edit my work on different devices--if it does, please tell me how to access it and I'll update my review immediately. Otherwise, great work!
