Nice but

@adon

A lil shady practices. Overall good stuff. Needs an iPhone X update tho.

Great Exercises, Bad Timer

abbad0n

Already seeing results with exercise program. Very good. Only downside is the timer GUI. Buttons are so tiny when trying to use it.

Most recent version broke ‘restore purchases’

dsmcclin

Don’t upgrade if you have purchased workouts and you need to restore purchases! Version 6.0 doesn’t allow you to do this - the button is there in settings but it doesn’t work - literally does nothing. Money wasted!!

Regressing

Andy Crouch

When I started using Gorilla Workout years ago, back when it was an Apple app pick, it was a breath of fresh air: simple, body weight based, effective (the workouts will absolutely kick, and tone, your butt). It hasn’t been improved in any way, and the latest version is a significant regression. The timer now covers up the workout instructions, making it almost useless. There are new typos (Upper Body CRAVER??) and omitted info (Upper Body “Craver” level 2, workout 17 omits the number of reps). Several demonstration videos have been hilariously inconsistent from the written instructions for years—see “Mountain Climbers,” which the written instructions (and every other workout site on earth) properly describe as done from the push-up starting position, but demonstrated in deadpan form by Gorilla Buff Boy in a standing position. Nothing has been fixed, much has regressed. Oh, and now they’ll sell you “nutritional “supplements.” Hah, no thanks. I’ll keep using it, because the basic structure of the workouts is sound, but I’m certainly not paying another cent until I see some evidence of actual development.

Great App

Domodaannoited1

This is a great app that I had to come back to due to the awesome results I saw. It taught me that you can make your body your own gym why pay $40 a month for gym membership when you can train with your body weight for the same results.

Great Quick Intense Workouts!

cool S

These workouts are awesome for a quick fix. Challenging and new workouts added frequently!

Great work out app

Ewujrod

Easy to follow sets and keeps things pretty simple. Gets a little spendy if you add all the workouts individually but still good.

Liking it

Travstrophie

Liking it so far.

My travel app

EJNYC

I travel a fair amount. When no gym was available I used the New York Times 9 minute workout. But it is the same workout every time. This app gives me different exercises and sequences. Most I can do in a hotel room, with the exception of the chin up. I like that it builds and is challenging. Early on I missed the number of repetitions of sequences, so I only did one sequence. Which seemed too easy. This morning was 6 repetitions of 2 exercises repeated 15 times each. I worked up a sweat!

Tough!

Sunshine Hill

Beginner here, cannot do push-ups but I love the video to reach me how and let me start with doing it from my knees
