This all desperately needs an overhaul when it comes to design. It looks like a 2009 app. And Google is known to have a minimalist colorfuk design in 2016. But otherwise, good.

There is no concept of favorite . Unable to add numbers to quick dial.very very low standards for Google level .some other similar apps has many features. I have to give minimum 1 rating nothing less than that????

When will this app grow up?

I cannot believe how this app has not progressed at all in the last several years. I second the "welcome to 2008" review by another user. Pathetic how behind it is. Gavin Belson would be proud. Fix the issue where texts don't come in live but force you to back out to the inbox and then return to your conversation. That would be a slight improvement to start.

I can receive picture msgs...but there's no way to send one. I've waited for 3 years for them to fix this bug or design flaw. This is a pretty big issue for an app made from a company like Google. I need google to step up & release apps with quality.

Please make any improvements. Adding the ability to see specific date and times would be a great start. Allowing us to copy a phone number to return a call since there is no option to return a call from a voicemail through the native phone only the app. Which only records you calling yourself in your call log. This app needs a major update with improvements. Google acts like they have placed this app on the shelf and haven't even tried to improve it. The app more less hasn't changed in at least 5 years. Come on and step up your game!

I needed an alternate number with a different area code on my existing phone and this did the trick. Not only can you forward your calls to your existing number but should you let them go to voice mail you will get a transcription of the message as well. For my purposes this went above and beyond. Well done.

Very dissatisfied with this app. From the very start! I have given the app so many tries and yet it has not improved at all. I am disappointed that Google has not yet done much about it.

Theres sooooo many updates needed for this app. Whats the problem with you guys updating the app and giving it a complete make over? ? come on get it together GOOGLE!

Lacks basic functionality

You can tell Google simple doesn't care about this app. When texting someone, received messages don't display in the thread unless you go back to the inbox and then back into the thread. The only explanation for such an obvious flaw is Google has no one working on the app.

Horrible!! No call forwarding

The main reason to have this application is for the call forwarding, which doesn't even work anymore. Get it together!
