Unusable, Untested, Unreliable

First, I had the same problem as the other reviewer who saw “You’re all set”. Then I finally got the BLE key linked on the phone. Now I’m stuck in a loop every time I try to sign in. Safari sends me to smart lock, I authenticate in smart lock and then I’m sent back to the MFA page in safari to do it all again. Incredibly frustrating.

I have tried for hours to pair my Titan Bluetooth key but this app will not prompt to pair. Followed all instructions and have removed and re-added accounts all day, still no pair. This app has literally one job and it fails.

Titan Security Key Support?

Bought a Titan Security Key because it seemed pretty cool. Can't seem to pair the Bluetooth key with my iPhone. Any solution to this???

First, as soon as you use a Fido or U2F key for 2FA with your google account (google apps and gmail both), if you ever change your password you are required to use this app next time you log in on your iPhone - even if you have an alternate 2FA setup like Google Authenticator for your account. This alone warrants a 1-star review since it’s a bad user experience and they don’t tell you in advance about this requirement. What’s worse is that this app is very buggy. If you are lucky enough to have a well paired Google Titan BLE token then this might work for you. If you want to use any other 2FA from your iPhone, this buggy app will effectively prevent you from logging in. I ultimately had to use a printed back up code to login as every other method was closed to me. Google - please QA this better before releasing and forcing users who want a secure login to use this!

Google used to not be inept, and no, you're not crazy. The app will not pair with your Titan key. What the hell??! Reminds me of the Steve Balmer Microsoft era!

I’m having the same problems as all other users. After signing in, I’m told I’m “all set” with no option to pair the Titan security key. Clearly Google doesn’t care that its MFA solution is completely broken for iOS users.

This app has only 1 purpose, to pair with titan. It simply does not work. Waste of time and money.

Apparently the Titan Bluetooth security key won’t actually work with the app that is built specifically for 2FA... Pretty incredible that the app has one purpose and is completely incapable of doing that one job. If I could give this app zero stars, I would.

As many other reviews have mentioned, it only gives you a message saying you’re all set — of course that’s false. It doesn’t pair or work at all with the Google Titan key. Keep those one star reviews coming if this impacts you. Hopefully Google will take note and fix.
