The old google pay app is 1000 times easier to use than the newer app. I tried to figure it out and I still do not understand how to send money to a friend

This app is great, the new version is garbage so cling to this one while you can. Sending/requesting payments is much easier on here as well as instant and free cash outs.

Google Pay GP has saved me tons of time. When the kids were in school (of course they weren’t in town) and needed dough, well it took awhile to get to them. My Son turned me on to GP and the rest is history! Time saver and a great free tool!

The old Google Pay app was simple and easy to use. The new Google Pay app is much too complicated and unnecessarily confusing. Please just keep it simple and don’t get bad ideas from Apple

I can’t believe how confusing and unintuitive this app is to use. The money transaction part of it (which is the primary purpose of the old app but a less prominent purpose of the new app) is buried under promotions and is riddled with problems. Basic information is missing. For example, I can’t tell if a transaction is a request from someone else or a payment I made and I don’t know what I have to do to make sure a payment is received. The old app is still around, apparently causing many problems with transactions. (Google documentation says that if someone sends money with the old Pay and you’re using the new Pay, you have to find the automatic email to accept the transaction.) One of my transactions have been processing, undelivered, for weeks despite having been deducted from my account. Until they figure things out, I would use the old app. If you have the new app, I would opt to use another app to transfer money.

So for years g pay has worked GEEAT... but of course!!!!! Like every other app they have to change the way they do things!!!!!!!! Not they will NoLonger be a means of money transfer for me an my family!!!!!! Thanks for NOTHING!!!!
