Ut oh spaghetti-o's

The home speakers never seem to find the WiFi connect, so it instructs you to go to the home app, which never has the available WiFi options. All around device/app.

Never connects to blue tooth. Ever.

I have had so much trouble with this device.

Having connectivity issues. I’ve troubleshooted three times and it’s still not working. I have the latest updated app and nothing. Can’t talk or chat with anyone. The troubleshooting is one big circle. So frustrating!

Hard to use

I bought a new Nest thermostat and got forced into this app. It’s overly complicated hides the thing I want (temp display and control) behind numerous clicks while trying to get me to do stupid things like linking Spotify to my thermostat. I’m thinking about returning my thermostats and getting ecobee due to how terrible this app is.

Barely working app

App barely works. Set up breaks randomly for no reason and each time I try to fix it I am met with new and creative bugs that prevent it from happening. Lights would disappear randomly or stop working. Lights wouldn't be added, or be added but not show up, suddenly saying a light group name would only trigger one light in group and then after a few weeks it would fix itself. Horrible UX, simple actions take half a dozen button presses, each of which shows a useless animation for half a second.

Connection problem

Since the last upgrade the app is just soo annoying to use. Its always loosing connection to the internet. We are always finding it difficult to control the lamps, sometimes we have to get up and restart.

No subscription no service

I was told when we bought this unit we would not need to have a subscription. We did get a free 30 day trial and it worked great. But as soon as it was over the motion stop working and sound won’t come though. So thinking of returning the unit. Sandra

Can’t even sync my smart light to it anymore. Just doesn’t work. Terrible app

Google smart speaker continues to disconnect

Every few days the Google smart speaker tells me it is not set up and I have to download the Google home app on the phone or tablet. The app has beendownloaded on my phone for the last year! And I have connected it every time to my phone as an extra device!

Accessibility issues

Sometimes the Wi-Fi connection does not register on the app Voice Over doesn’t pick up the account menu. Accessibility has gone to hell
