Use the Chromecast app to:
• Set up your Chromecast and connect it to your Wi-Fi network
• Personalize your TV home screen with art, personal photos, news and more by setting up backdrop
• Manage your Chromecast settings (such as changing your device name, Wi-Fi password, etc.)
So Google if you get diss and thank you developers you are the best When making google home. From Kayden to google.???????
It’s easy to set up devices and manage your home but there are a lot of issues if you have an iOS device. Especially if you use nest WiFi. I’ve had to factory reset multiple times because of errors in the firmware, and certain features won’t work like Digital Well-being.
I would love to see Google come out with a spotlight camera added to their choices of cameras. Hopefully that will be in the works.
Configuring thermostat settings is beyond confusing. App won’t let me end a temperature hold, so I’m stuck in a pattern in which my home will heat when I’m not there. Poor product
Critical notification no longer works
App constantly crashes and will not complete setup with new devices.
Can’t connect my point to the nest. I can not find an option to connect them together.
Miss the nest home app for live video feeds on home page, and the yale lock doesn't seem to have the option to add guests to have access on this app like nest did. It opens to many links to get you to those features. I do like having all my other home apps in one section to view, thats really the only good thing i do like about this app.
I just want a simple control of my home network. Google forced the poor incomplete transfer to Google Home. It’s much more cumbersome and invasive. I don’t like it and it has not yet worked well for my needs.
