Excited to use it but then not

I was excited to use it on iOS but every time i wanted to do something like add a reminder or get weather notification daily it was slow and it didn’t work all the time. So... very unreliable when you really need it. Uninstalled it for now

It is better than Siri and Alexa and Cortana they are all great but it is better and smarter than them I usually use it and whenever they stop working and can’t find my answer I go toGoogle assistance and usually doesn’t disappoint me I really like it and I hope it’s been it’s been a be a smarter day by day and beMore useful in future

I turn to Google for so many things and have never been dissapointed with their offerings until now. I have tried and tested all Google (public-available) software and apps; past/present/failures/re-created/successes/world-wide recognized and although each of these had quirks (and were often pulled off the shelf if they didn't measure up), they at least launched and were better versions of their predecessors. Google Assistant: Folks, if it doesn't even launch, what's the point. *I wrote this based upon my experience with Google Assistant. I am not a journalist or expert. Way better than Siri

Siri is a waste of time and space

Too slow and buggy

It starts ok with empty history, but then gets slower as previous commands/replies rendered and finally becomes barely usable - takes 2-3 secs to type a symbol. Another issue - it starts to generate repetitive notifications, like every second never stopping loop until app is terminated. iPhone 6.

Widget is finicky

If the app is not already open on my phone, the widget doesn’t work. When it pulls open the app it freezes.

I wish this had Apple Watch capabilities so I could get notifications on my watch, because I don’t carry my phone around with me all the time...

Apagué a Siri y bajé esta app. Leí que es mejor que Siri. Mi iPhone está seteado en inglés porque así lo prefiero y es más fácil leer. Sin embargo, prefiero “hablar” con asistentes virtuales en español. La única forma de cambiar de inglés a español en el Google Assistant es en Settings, cambiando el idioma de el iPhone, lo cual no prefiero. Solo quería cambiar el idioma de la aplicación. Le di delete y regrese a Siri.

Loved google till I read the entire Damore memo for myself and saw the screen shots of not hiring white or asian men. People aren’t random, over 70% of USA is white, google is only 55% white and they are desperately trying to lower that! The only way to “appear” to not be racist is to actually be systemically racist. Equality of opportunity is democracy. Equality of outcome is communism. Olympics are fair, equal opportunity, but the podium (outcome) is never politically correct/equal. The only way to make fair competition (olympics or capitalism) look equal for outcome, is the cheat and oppress the overachievers. You shouldn’t punish Norway for too many gold medals and “Norway privilege.” Read the Damore memo for yourself and watch his interview, and then vote with your wallet/privacy. boycott google #cathynewnaninterview
