Google Assistant

Perfecto pero solo una cosa: me gustaría que se activara sin tener que tocar el micrófono, solo al llamarlo e incluso, con el teléfono sin conectar (como Siri), es decir, que funcione como la bocina.

Assistant crushes Siri- it’s so much smarter

Assistant is far ahead of Siri and Alexa- I use all 3 as a consumer and developer and the AI here is years ahead. Hoping the two worse ones come back to give some competition.

There is times my Google does not understand me and you need to fix the alarms, I have overslept a few times because of this.? for example whenever I say hey Google or OK Google set alarm for 6:45 AM it will say that the alarm is set. but then it will say” sorry” there is a glitch and the alarm is not set. you need to make it so you can choose the sound for the alarms and timers.☹️ also sometimes didn’t understand me whenever I say to stream or play a radio station such as Z 88.3 on tune in or K love on iHeartRadio.

Way better than Siri

The ONLY reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that it can’t yet control some iPhone functions. Far superior in every other way, Apple would be smart to allow Assistant complete control of phone functions. It’s actually so far superior, I’m actually considering buying a Pixel 2, just to have the complete Assistant functionality.

Nothing Works Anymore :-(

I loved this app when it first came out and I could take a selfie with the app running in the background… For whatever reason that feature no longer works which makes this pretty useless compared to Siri... I wish somebody could tell me otherwise and how to fix this problem...

Better than Siri

The Google Assistant is MUCH better than Siri, I just wish Apple would allow the Google Assistant to be the default Assistant rather than Siri. I also know that developing the app for the iPhone is probably not the priority at Google, but I wish that they’d keep the iPhone app updated more closely with the Android version. There are lots of small bugs and design issues through the iPhone app.

What happened to shortcuts?

Love the app hands down, but the shortcuts option seems to be missing.

Hey Siri, open Google Assistant

I use the Google Assistant on my phone, watch, and speakers. I wish you could do things like texting without touching the screen (although this is limited by Apple).

Calendar integration broken out of the box

YouAlreadyForgot

Scheduling is the most useful thing an assistant can do. Google Assistant currently can’t schedule anything, at least not for my usage scenario. I don’t own any Google Home speakers. I use G Suite for my one and only Google account. While Assistant recognizes my Google account like all the other Google apps, it doesn’t seem to see my calendar(s). No, not weird shared calendars, just the default calendar associated with my Google account. Even stranger, it can see my upcoming reminders, which would imply that it can access my calendar data. And yet, no calendar-related commands work for me. Until calendar integration works for G Suite users, Assistant is a non-starter.
