Often when I launch the app the assistant will be ready for me to speak but doesn’t do anything while i am speaking. So I tap the microphone button and then again to speak another attempt but that doesn’t work either. At that point I just close the app and relaunch, then it finally actually works and light up when I speak.

I love this! Google helps me stay organized and I can have a convo with her when I’m bored. She helps me keep track of when I should box, and when I do my school work. And she isn’t like one of those creepy robots, she just like talking to your best friend, if talking to a robot like a friend doesn’t sound totally creepy or lonely. Thank y’all for reading my opinion.
Google assistant hangs

The assistant is pretty great in terms of its results but it has an annoying behavior it where it hangs many times when you open up the Assistant at first and the microphone multi dock busy indicator stays on and it just hangs there. The only way to get around that is to turn your phone off and on which is a big deal and it resets it. Even D launching and re-launching it doesn’t help it sometimes most of the time. This is on Apple iPhone 11.

So I see a strange little dog it’s orange and when I go down to my control center I see that an app is using my mike and I had Google assistant open and I wasn’t even using it I wasn’t even going OK cool whatever and all that stuff but it keeps like it still kept on saying that it was using my mic and that is a big privacy issue because it is using my mic while the app is not in use and it just feels very it doesn’t seem very right and I hope like in the future update the leak fix it but other than that it runs pretty fine.

It’s almost 2022 and there still no support for 24 hour time even though all the other google apps have this function and no apple watch app. Terrible…
