I don’t know why but it thinks the Rubix cube is messed up it thinks it’s solved and when it’s solved it thinks it’s messed up
Great for Learners, Roux needs work

When I got this cube, I used the default CFOP method. Using the timing functionality, I was able to drastically improve my solve time by about 10 seconds. The gocube app works wonderfully for this. The problem came when I tried to learn the roux method. The steps given in the gocube app are incorrect. CMLL is not solving the entire top face, it’s solving the top corners. LSE stands for last six edges, not last two edges. The app usually combines the two times into CMLL and gives me a 0:00 time for the LSE. This makes me unable to time my LSE, which is most of what I need work on. I will say, however, the cube itself is amazing!
A good start

Overall a good start to a really great app. It seems like the app is mostly geared towards people fairly new to the cube. The tutorial is really good for teaching you how to solve the cube initially and the cube solver is really nice for helping you get back to a solved cube if you get into a sticky situation and don't know how to solve the cube reliably. I am by no means a speed cuber, but I can fairly reliably solve in under 1:30. It seems that it's at this point in your cubing progression is where the current app starts to lose its audience. I don't use a standard CFOP algorithm. I use the Petrus method. The statistics can only recognize phases of the solve for CFOP. It would be great to be able to change the algorithm to recognize and keep stats for Petrus solvers.

I had a little trouble because the cube would move in different places whe I was on my table but in the end I just reset it and I finally finish the training and I’m proud to say GoCube got me to solve my first cube

Really great! Took a few dozen solves to get use to the rounded edges but I am starting to get a good feel for it. Enjoy getting some real times and stats to see how and where I can improve...I cant set it down!!! The lights are more just for show. You could not play this cube in the dark! Orange and red look the same, this is the only reason I downgraded one star!

This app is really really good. The online mode is fun and academy is really well put together. However I have some more additions that I thing will make it better. 1. Add an algorithm mode. I think a mode where you put in algorithms and then it quizzes you on them would be good. 2. Make it to where once you finish the first academy you have a choice to move on to something like CFOP. No, you don’t have to teach all the algorithms, but 2 look OLL and PLL would be great. I hope you take these suggestions into consideration. Thanks!

Overall I think the app is awesome but I had a sort of bug where what the cube shows is not at all what the screen shows and I have tried as much as I can to fix it and I can’t figure it out

I learned the cube in about 4/5 days and it was awesome. I like how we can do like mini games and compete which makes us faster. But please developers my cube is going crazy because it’s moving by itself and it also saying that some of my sides aren’t where supposed to be.
