Terrible Experience

I usually never have problems with goat and I’ve been a recurring and consistent customer, but I had purchased a new pair of Jordan 4 Paris Saint Germains and when I received them the toe box was creased and dirty. This obviously wasn’t the new pair that I paid for. It was very obvious that these shoes had been tried on before. They couldn’t even offer an exchange. The best they could offer was a $25 store credit or a return on the shoes so naturally I went with a return. How these shoes came to pass as “New” is beyond me. It’s not hard to look at a pair of shoes and see that they’ve been worn before. If I paid for a new shoe I should get a new shoe. This was the worst experience I’ve had shopping online for shoes and will most likely be the last time I purchase anything from goat.

It takes me to the home page every time i try to log in. It’s happened about 6 times since this morning. If i can log-in, that would be great. I also don’t like the new layout update. You guys made it 20x more difficult to navigate through the app & hide features that were in plain sight before?

I think it would be better if they just had more sneakers in storage because at this point you’re better off using Grailed or eBay or something because all Goat really is are middle man handling transactions between you and a random seller..I’ve had more success dealing directly with sellers. I also like to point out the instant shipping is a rip..it’s bad enough that the resell culture are vultures but to have a middle man in place to high Jack the price for instant shipping for a sneaker that’s been sitting in storage is ridiculous, it should be set at the price the seller has it listed for or you should be charging the seller the storage fee like any typical storage facility would..something like a monthly fee to hold the sneaker and the option to get it back from storage if it doesn’t sell. I have a lot more better ideas but eventually businesses like this will crumble for not innovating and people like me will take up your space no pun.

Always problems selling shoes with Goat. Also when I always take a screen shot cause the actually changed a size on me and tried saying I bought the wrong size. I proved it with a screen shot and they sent me correct size. When selling they said I posted wrong size. Well I had proof of that but they will never take responsibility for their actions. That’s why most of my business is now with Stock X. They take care of you there unlike Goat.

Go and use Grailed. Goat will make you pay for a pair of shoes you don’t want to purchase anymore. Just now I had to purchase a pair of jordans I placed an offer a month ago and after the month it was accepted FORCING me to purchase a pair of shoes I didn’t want anymore. With grailed you can offer without purchase

To sell on Goat is very easy and quick. The app keeps you informed about your price whether your high or low allowing you to quickly adjust. Offers are easy to accept and the shipping labels are included. Once the item is received and authenticated by a Goat your money is released. Overall very efficient.
