Fix it

Amar Allamy

Always I see the sign said there is something wrong they will fix as soon as possible and I can’t enjoy it ??

Dubious at best

Eye of the Seer

It’s a fun app and I enjoy playing it, however, having been a regular gin player of many years, I can say that the flow of the game on the app does not mirror how the game works in real life with physical cards. Add to it these questionable update request that say something to the effect of, “Update to this new version for luck!” and one is left wondering if random chance is abandoned to favor certain players over others at certain times, which does seem to happen in ways that I have never experienced in a physical game. Many players have reported incidents where you draw a card that you could have used immediately after discarding the very card that could have completed a meld. It does indeed seem to happen far too often. And only by playing the game in actual life with actual cards would you then notice. Overall, I give it two stars, because I don’t trust how the game is programmed and the credibility of the app is further brought into question when each update tells you absolutely nothing more than the idiotic statement, “you asked for it, we made it happen.” What did we ask for? What exactly did you make happen? Guess what? What we want is a fair game with a reliable random number generator that emulates the shuffle of a physical deck of cards. Make that happen and tell us when you do.

Be realistic on the “challenges” for coins

PenniDaulerio

Honestly who can rank 25th out of how many players you have? Over 15,000 I’m guessing. So a chance at doubling whatever spin you get is a bit far-fetched. Please be more realistic. I’ve paid a decent amount for coins - every now and again it would be great to win a challenge.

2 stars cause it runs well and I like gin

Pup-Twister

I enjoy the game of rummy a lot and that’s why I play this game. But the lucky wheel is such a bait and switch. While you are looking at the challenges the lowest you can win is 10k but when ever I go to spin I land on 1.5k and it wasn’t even on the wheel I looked at when deciding to play the challenges. I do appreciate winning free money but when the money I win is less than the minimum bet for the shark room (2 of my challenges had to be completed in that room) it’s just not worth it. Also really annoyed that if I bet 5k vs someone I’m only gunna get back 9.5k

Server issues

so115

I’ve been kicked out of games when the server is slow. It lags and then you miss parts of the game. I’ve missed multiple turns in a row because the game lags and as a result I’ve lost matches. I wish they could figure out how to make it so that the game waits for the connection to continue.

If there’s any issue with the game, support will just blame it on your internet connection when it’s 100% not true.

Should auto sort for least deadwood at end of hand

Tyluki

As another reviewer pointed out, if you don’t have your hand sorted to the most advantageous position at the instant the other player goes out- the computer won’t count it correctly. For example if you have 3 kings and 3 queens in your hand but they’re not next to each other when your opponent goes out, those sets won’t count at all. You’ll get 60 points added to other player's score. I was in the process of sorting my cards when my opponent knocked and it didn’t count the sets I had. Apparently, developer’s response was to tell users not sort their cards during other players turn. It will not auto-sort to get you the least deadwood for the hand. E. If you have 56777, it will keep the 567 not the 777 if that’s how you have it when opponent goes out. Ruins the game to have it not scored correctly.

Great game

Come on, Zynga

Naihanchi

While I win more than 80% of the hands I play, it is clear that this game is rigged. I read that in other reviews and assumed it was just people being sore losers. But the algorithm is clear now...and it is shameful that a company as great as Zynga usually is resorted to this to make a few extra bucks. Truly shameful and most definitely my last Zynga game.
